I'm surprised they didn't break his driver's side window, forcefully pull him from the car, slam him to the ground, beat him for "resisting" and then take him to jail. Cops are psychopaths.

A warning for eating something that looks like a phone. Yeah, right.

NOTICE this kid: - Respectful - No shouting - No arguing - Honesty Goes on his way. (why is it SO HARD for certain people)

Bros looking at that sandwich more than I look at my phone anyway

A lot of people should learn from this interaction. He explained the truth and even though he was right didn’t overreact when the cop didn’t believe him but stayed calm regardless because he knew he could contest it in court if he needed to BUT him being direct, telling the truth and not being combative helped the cop make the right choice by writing him a warning instead of a ticket. I do this all the time. I don’t overly explain myself, I don’t argue, I simply tell my truth but even then I’ll disagree and pushback RESPECTFULLY when accused of wrong doing, key word is respectfully with no attitude or anger and I’ve never gotten a ticket in those situations. Once I get my warning I sign and I’ll even apologize to the cop in case I ever came off rude or combative and they always tell me no.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter if it's a phone or a sandwich in my country.

Eating while driving is still distracted driving.

He didn't see any phone and he also didn't see any sandwich. He came out of nowhere and pulled this kid over for no reason and made up the phone story after the fact because he had nothing else and thought the phone lie had a chance to stick.

I got a $163 ticket for checking my phone at a red light. You know, when my car was not moving. Clearly, I put countless lives in danger and lucked out with such a minimal charge.

The cop noticed the camera .... he wasn't 100% sure of himself And even if it was his phone, there are PLENTY of times "those trained" aren't paying attention on the road either Victimless crimes are just a reason for snooping and revenue for the State

STOP OR I'LL ADD MAYO!

It's not driving with your phone, it's distracted driving. Doesn't matter if it's a phone, sandwich, a bowl of cereal, or if you have drum sticks banging on the steering wheel. You're distracting yourself which is endangering others around you.

You gotta record everything, cell phone, body cams, flock, dash cams, doorbell cams. The biggest thing they do is prove cops are corrupt as hell.

Now compare how that situation would’ve went if he acted a fool.

Sandwich-style cellphone

You're not supposed to be eating or drinking while driving.

Cop realized it once he saw the sandwich...

And ofc he’s already made up his mind before he’s gotten to the window. A cop that can’t listen to those he is supposed to protect, is a cop that shouldn’t be on the force at all. Fuck that

he shoulda give him a ticket for eating his phone

Handled exactly like you're supposed to.

No , cops just make that up, so they can pull you over and look for other things they can use to ruin your life.

The best one will always be the cop that wouldn't accept being wrong, after pulling over a woman amputee for being on her phone with her missing right hand.

A big ol sloppy sandwich that you have to stare at before every bite is also pretty unsafe.

Looks like if u are a dumbass and brainless person u will join the police in USA

Another arrogant POS cop with an out of control cop ego

We have a psychopath problem in law enforcement

If he was eating a sandwich was was he complying

This cop probably went home and beat the shit out of his wife

Notice how cops never admit they’re wrong but instead find some super insecure petty way around it?

Uhhh… why not just say you have it all recorded?

You have your own video. I get that you're a kid, but you were NOT on your phone. Tell him to fuck off. If he cites you for being on your phone because he SAW your phone in your hand, he's LYING. All he can do is make it worse for himself.

look how smooth it goes when you comply... he could have easily got into an argument with him because he has video proof that it was NOT a cell phone, but he didnt even mention that he has video proof

W cop though, actually trusted him

I don't answer questions.
