The applications earned about 215x more in fees than the chain itself. This indicates the actual utilization of DeFi and staking applications rather than gas. In addition, chain fees were up 14.9% over the same period, which looks like a good sign despite the decline in TVL. Furthermore, daily activity remains high: ~8,755 users and 47,299 transactions were registered on August 13. However, Core TVL is $4.35M, and the $CORE coin is priced at $0.019, well below its all-time high of $6.14 in 2023.
