This woman walked into this ice cream shop and ordered an ice cream cone. When they handed it to her she told them she couldn’t pay for it. 😳 The employees said she had to pay for it. She didn’t have any money. She asks them if they are going to call the cops. This male customer sitting there chimes in and says if they call the cops he will be a witness. The woman said she told them she wanted it for free but the man said that’s not true. He said he watched her the whole time. She tries to put it down on the countertop but the employee tells her don’t leave it there. So she walks over and throws it in the trash. The witness tells her “this is what entitlement looks like” as she walks out the door. Some people said why not just buy the ice cream for her, to have a heart, because you never know what someone is going through. Others said if she had asked the right way and told them up front she didn’t have any money then maybe they would have purchased it for her but to come in and order and THEN tell them you don’t have any money is just wrong. This wasn’t a steak or a burger or a meal, I could see buying her those things to help someone out that is hungry but an ice cream is not a necessity. No one owes anyone anything. What do you think? Should one of them have bought the ice cream for her, given it to her for free? Or do you think she was trying to get something for free and trying to take advantage of them?

Had the most strange night in a LONG time. At midnight, my ring cameras go off at the shop with deputies all over the property... I have no idea what is happening, and it gets insane from there. Moral of the story? You cannot be kind to people any more. A former employee reached out a week ago and asked if his girlfriend (who is like a daughter to me) and his 2 year old daughter could stay with us for a few days. I told him we didn't have room at the house currently, BUT she was welcome to stay in my RV at my shop until we could find her a place. I would make sure she was safe, and taken care of. This young man has been like family since he was 13. I taught him to weld. I have given him vehicles, employed him multiple times, etc. Tried my best to talk him out of the stupid stuff he does. Just petty crimes, fighting, evading police, etc. I have tried for years to get him to just straighten up and be the man I know he could be. Day before yesterday, he tells me he has a warrant out for his arrest and I tell him he cannot stay there with her. I can't have him staying there and getting me involved with whatever shit he had going on. She is welcome to stay, but he can't be there. He lost his mind and called me all sorts of things as he stomped out. Well, last night he decided he was staying there regardless, and when she wouldn't unlock the door, he decided to put his fist through the glass. Drugs destroy people, man. This young man had so much potential and I have tried and tried to get him clean and get him to a good life... Now, we all suffer, and I have to get his girlfriend and little girl away from him before he kills them. Just insane.

For the longest time 30+ family and friends chipped in to a private company and we could always fly that way. I never really flew commercial too much, only a handful of times. I never liked it. I hate the crowds, I hate waiting for my bags. Some people can be always unruly. The worst for me is when I had to sit by someone who would always give the attendant a hard time, treating them like a personal assistant, barking orders at them and admonishing them for what they consider substandard service. This woman sitting across the aisle from me thought she was at an all inclusive buffet. She would say “excuse me miss” as a way of getting their attention and she always used a fake sugary sweet voice and was acting polite but I could tell it wasn’t authentic, it was a way to demean the workers. She made the poor attendant kept going back and forth and getting her refills even though she was serving somebody else. She would repeatedly ask for snacks and seconds when the meal was served. I have no idea why they complied but they did. Most of us were just sitting there watching and waiting for the attendant to snap, but she was professional the whole time. This was at a time where most people weren’t going to embarrass themselves making a scene because the people who treat them like this are used to the attention, it’s almost as if they are picking a fight intentionally. The rest of the flight was uneventful. This was a long flight to Asia for me, I think the attendant knew if she angered the woman, she would then become even more difficult so she just took it. I would have cut her off a long time before she started taking advantage.

How Jeffrey Epstein rose from maths nerd, to a financial fixer for elites, to the boss of blackmail: ‘If you look at Epstein’s operation, what it looks like to me is that it’s a criminal operation on a number of different levels. Epstein is an interesting case because where does he come from? Well, he doesn’t come from a wealthy family. He doesn’t come from an influential family. He was a Long Island kid who was good at mathematics…he was a kind of smart, nerdy kid who made friends by doing their math homework. You’re not popular because you’re a jock. You’re not popular necessarily because you’re that good-looking or you dance well. You’re popular because you can do other people’s math homework and get them to pass. His whole career is ingratiating himself to wealthy, powerful people. What did he do as a financial advisor? Look at it. Just stand back and look at what he did. And what he did was that he helped them dodge taxes. He also helped them hide money. He could help people discover money that had been hidden abroad. He could help them hide money. If you do one, you can do the other. And that’s how he moved as a kind of fixer and arranger into the realm of the rich and powerful. And in that process, either he or other people who were working with him found out that these people can be compromised in a number of ways. And so then you start installing cameras in your residences, in the bedrooms and the bathrooms. There’s only one reason you do that. It’s fairly simple. The only reason why you collect all of this video information on your rich and powerful friends is to potentially use it as leverage against them. You don’t have to actually use it. You simply have to make them aware that you have it and could use it.’ -Prof. Richard Spence on the latest episode of Going Underground FULL INTERVIEW:

Warren Buffett shares what he would do if he had to start investing again w/ just $1 million Here was his valuable/timeless advice: "With just a million dollars, you could earn 50% a year... I don't know what the equivalent of Moody's manuals or anything would be now, but I would try and know everything about everything small, and I would find [opportunities]. But you have to be in love with the subject. You can't just be in love with the money. You've really got to just find [the opportunity]. People find other things in other fields because they love looking for them. A biologist looks for something because they want to find something. I don't know how the human brain works that much. I don't think anybody understands too well how the human brain works. But there's different people that just find it exciting to expand their knowledge in a given area. I've had the luck of meeting a lot of people that are unbelievably smart in their own arena and do some unbelievably dumb things in other areas. So all I know is the human brain is complicated. But it does its best when you find out what your brain is really suited for, and then you just pound the heII out of it from that point. And that's what I would be doing if I had a small amount of money and I wanted to make 50% a year. But I also wanted to just play the game. And you can't do it if you don't find the game interesting, whether it's bridge or chess or in this case, finding securities that are undervalued."

According to Dan Aykroyd, the budget for "The Blues Brothers" (1980) included "Cocaine" for night shoots. He said, "Everyone did it, including me. Never to excess, and not ever to where I wanted to buy it or have it. [But] John [Belushi], he just loved what it did. It sort of brought him alive at night—that superpower feeling where you start to talk and converse and figure you can solve all the world’s problems." John Belushi put off rehab for his worsening condition in order to complete the movie. He told his wife, “I’m fine, I can’t stop now until I finish the movie. It’ll be fine when it’s over.” For all the efforts of his friends and colleagues, Belushi was surrounded by enablers, according to Ned Zeman, though Landis did his best to convert them: “For God’s sake,” he told Carrie Fisher when she arrived on set, “if you see John doing drugs, stop him.” John Belushi's addiction was so bad that he disappeared while filming one of the night scenes. Dan Aykroyd looked around and saw a single house with its lights on. He went to the house and was prepared to identify himself, the movie, and that they were looking for Belushi. Before he could, the homeowner looked at him, smiled and said, "You're here for John Belushi, aren't you?" The homeowner told them Belushi had entered their house, asked if he could have a glass of milk and a sandwich, and then crashed on their couch. Situations like that prompted Aykroyd to affectionately dub Belushi "America's Guest." The two of them walked back to the set like nothing happened. It's a long video and it was mostly recorded in Yoruba language. For the sake of non-speaker of Yoruba language, I'll summarise the content. The woman in the middle and man on the left side are a couple, and the child in between them is theirs. The child has medical ailment that needed surgery. The cost of the surgery is ₦2.5m. Lest I forget, they are pastors. Hold that information in one hand. The bearded man on the right is an online influencer. He heard about the child's condition, and out of his kind heart, he chose to use his platform to create online awareness about the development. He was able to help the poor couple raise the money that was needed for their child's surgery. In fact, he passed the target. In all, about ₦5m was raised. The surgery was originally fixed for a date in Nov 2024 but unfortunately, the doctors at OAUTH (Ilé-Ifè) were on strike on the said day, and the surgery was postponed to 16th Jan 2025. The influencer guy kept calling the couple to follow up with the situation. From his many phone conversations with the couple, he deduced that something wasn't adding up, and he decided to show up with a physical visitation yesterday. Long story short, this couple squandered ₦5m that was contributed by kind hearted Nigerians just within the space of two months. Don't forget that only ₦2.5m was all that was needed for the surgery but by grace and providence, they were able to get double that money. Yet this useless people squandered it all. What did they do with the money? Did they eat with ₦5m in just two months? Was it land they buy? I can't wrap my head around this nonsense at all. Now, I understand better why some certain people have a very strong apathy for poor people and would not want to have anything to do with them. More than often, poor people are too entitled. Or if it is not a stupid entitlement mentality, why would they have spent the money that was meant for their child's surgery just in the space of two months? They definitely believe that if people could contribute that much for them, they can do it again. What manner of parents are this? What should be done for this useless people?

a child of grace, but they named me Olamide.
