I will never ever ask what’s wrong of offer help if I wasn’t actually going to help. I see accidents on the highway almost daily, especially in the winter, if I am going to stop I always call the police first so I know help is on the way for them and for me if things go south. A woman was in an accident and she’s going car to car begging for help. She thought these people were going to help her and jumped in there. At only for them to boot her out. What would you do though, would you let her in the car? To me it could be a setup or they could have serious injuries would t want anything to happen. I wouldn’t let them in the car. People will criticize because they aren’t in this position or it hasn’t happened to them. I say unless I am equipped to help, I won’t. But I will always call for help. I feel that’s the best thing we can do in most of these cases and if anyone else has anything to say about it they don’t know what they are talking about.

This woman walked into this ice cream shop and ordered an ice cream cone. When they handed it to her she told them she couldn’t pay for it. 😳 The employees said she had to pay for it. She didn’t have any money. She asks them if they are going to call the cops. This male customer sitting there chimes in and says if they call the cops he will be a witness. The woman said she told them she wanted it for free but the man said that’s not true. He said he watched her the whole time. She tries to put it down on the countertop but the employee tells her don’t leave it there. So she walks over and throws it in the trash. The witness tells her “this is what entitlement looks like” as she walks out the door. Some people said why not just buy the ice cream for her, to have a heart, because you never know what someone is going through. Others said if she had asked the right way and told them up front she didn’t have any money then maybe they would have purchased it for her but to come in and order and THEN tell them you don’t have any money is just wrong. This wasn’t a steak or a burger or a meal, I could see buying her those things to help someone out that is hungry but an ice cream is not a necessity. No one owes anyone anything. What do you think? Should one of them have bought the ice cream for her, given it to her for free? Or do you think she was trying to get something for free and trying to take advantage of them?

This is such an amazing story. An older man Tom had to leave his apartment because the landlord refused to allow him to keep his dog because it was a pitbull. Rather than get rid of the dog, he left the apartment and decided to stay in a tent.. After a while he realized he couldn’t really care for the dog, because he had health issues, so he took his best friend to the fire station with a note explaining his situation and asking if they could take care of his baby, they did of course, but something else happened. They decided to find him and they did. They realize that he was a veteran and so they set him up in a donated RV and while they’re attending to his health needs, they’re keeping the dog Jake for when he gets well enough they’re going to reunite them both . ❤️❤️❤️❤️ We hear all about the bad things going on. It’s just as important to hear about all the good things that people are doing.

This is San Francisco in 1985. I miss my grandparents. I miss all of my family who are no longer here. When my grandparents came to visit, we would go to SFO to pick them up, and no one was ever happier to see me than they were. This was back when you could walk right up to the gate. I was always excited to see if this would be the year I was finally taller than my grandma. Having them in town was the best. The meals my grandma cooked for us were amazing, and their stories were always just as great. We would take them to San Francisco and do all the touristy stuff like North Beach and Fisherman’s Wharf, but none of that really mattered. What mattered was that we were all together. They’ve been gone for years now, but I think of them often. I wonder what it would have been like to talk to them as an adult, to connect in a different way than I could as a kid. I guess life isn't really designed that way for everyone, to grow up and have those deeper conversations, to understand who they were beyond being your grandparents. But I have gotten to know them in new ways, through old photos, home movies, and the stories other family members have shared with me. It amazes me to think of the full lives they both lived long before I was ever born. If you still have your grandparents, give them a call. Say hello. Learn as much as you can from them while you still can.

She then proceeds to tell her father that she will ALWAYS be on his side. A lot of people(women) thought it was corny for him to record the interaction. I applaud him! This can be used as evidence. Especially when the mother says her daughter hates to be with her dad. Video evidence and text receipts will always be accepted as proof. A lot of men go through this everyday. Sometimes in life, we should buy things not because we truly need them, but because someone else truly needs us to. I was riding my scooter to a paddle game when I saw an old man on the side of the road trying to sell handmade brooms. Cars kept passing. Nobody stopped. I turned around immediately. He wasn’t begging. He wasn’t asking for charity. He had prepared these brooms himself and was trying to sell them. When I stopped, he looked surprised. I bought a few brooms. I had no use for them, but later I gave them away as gifts. I do this often. Whenever I see someone trying to help themselves instead of begging, I try to support them. The world doesn’t need you to give away all your money or donate to big organizations. You can, and that’s great. But that’s not the point. The point is simple: open your heart to people around you, just do a little bit better. If each of us does a little bit better, the world becomes a better place.

A group of friends finally got a chance to watch emraan hashmi in Awarapan 2. But there was a problem. A couple were sitting next to them. The boyfriend already watched it in the morning show alone and he just couldn't keep it to himself. Throughout the movie, he would lean over his girlfriend and tell her exactly what was about to happen a second before every big scene. On top of that, they were making noises while kissing, disturbing everyone around them. The whole row could hear it. Their entire movie was being spoiled live. Eventually, three men confronted him and asked him to stop during interval. But instead of apologising, he became rude because he wanted to look like a "chad" in front of his girlfriend. The argument quickly turned into punches and within moments, those men started beating him up. His girlfriend also got into a fight with women there, no one helped her as they were angry on them for spoiling the movie. She eventually went alone to try to save him. Lesson - If you've already seen the movie, shut up about it. Nobody bought a ticket to hear every scene from the guy sitting next to them.

Director Keenen Ivory Wayans waited until after shooting the rest of 'Scary Movie' (2000) before filming the opening scene with Carmen Electra because the studio kept pushing back on having her join the cast. The Studio didn't want to cast her as they thought she was cheesy. Wayans tried to explain the reason for casting her, but they didn't think she could do the role. Wayans finally asked the studio to allow him to shoot the scene & if it doesn't work out, he promised to shoot the scene with someone else. In the words of Keenen Ivory Wayans: "Miramax just didn't want to cast her. They didn't think she could do it. They thought she was cheesy, because—and this is no disrespect to Carmen—she was one of the first celebrities to be known more for who they were than for what they'd done, you know? But what they didn't like about Carmen was what made her perfect, and that's what I kept trying to explain. I kept saying to them, 'Look, trust me. If it doesn't work, then we can hire somebody else, but let me at least shoot it.' For the longest time 30+ family and friends chipped in to a private company and we could always fly that way. I never really flew commercial too much, only a handful of times. I never liked it. I hate the crowds, I hate waiting for my bags. Some people can be always unruly. The worst for me is when I had to sit by someone who would always give the attendant a hard time, treating them like a personal assistant, barking orders at them and admonishing them for what they consider substandard service. This woman sitting across the aisle from me thought she was at an all inclusive buffet. She would say “excuse me miss” as a way of getting their attention and she always used a fake sugary sweet voice and was acting polite but I could tell it wasn’t authentic, it was a way to demean the workers. She made the poor attendant kept going back and forth and getting her refills even though she was serving somebody else. She would repeatedly ask for snacks and seconds when the meal was served. I have no idea why they complied but they did. Most of us were just sitting there watching and waiting for the attendant to snap, but she was professional the whole time. This was at a time where most people weren’t going to embarrass themselves making a scene because the people who treat them like this are used to the attention, it’s almost as if they are picking a fight intentionally. The rest of the flight was uneventful. This was a long flight to Asia for me, I think the attendant knew if she angered the woman, she would then become even more difficult so she just took it. I would have cut her off a long time before she started taking advantage.

I got home from work around 5pm and as I pulled into the driveway I noticed the neighbors garage door was opened. She normally never left it open unless she was outside. She lived with her husband who suffered from COPD so I never saw him much. A few days went by and I noticed when I was leaving for errands that her garage door was still open. I was beginning to worry because I started watching the house at night and noticed the lights were never on no matter how dark it was outside or what time it was. I tried calling her son and he said he would check in on her but wouldn’t call her that night since it was late. I don’t think he ever came by because when I got home, again the garage door was still open, it’s connected to the house and anybody could just walk in if they wanted to. I decided to call the police, they came out to do a wellness check on her. They noticed the garage door opened and they walked in. The side door leading to the kitchen from the garage was still unlocked. They kept knocking to see if anybody answered and nobody answered. I called her son again and he spoke to them and told them he was concerned something bad happened and this wasn’t like her. Fearing the worst, they entered the home. They went through every inch of the home but did not find her even in the home. The son ended up filing a missing persons report. She ended up coming back a few days later, it turned out that she went to visit a friend but didn’t say anything to anybody and accidentally left the garage open when she was loading her luggage into the uber. I think it was better for us to be safe than sorry, this could have ended much differently.

I don't know what the equivalent of Moody's manuals or anything would be now, but I would try and know everything about everything small, and I would find [opportunities]. But you have to be in love with the subject. You can't just be in love with the money. You've really got to just find [the opportunity]. People find other things in other fields because they love looking for them. A biologist looks for something because they want to find something. I don't know how the human brain works that much. I don't think anybody understands too well how the human brain works. But there's different people that just find it exciting to expand their knowledge in a given area. I've had the luck of meeting a lot of people that are unbelievably smart in their own arena and do some unbelievably dumb things in other areas. So all I know is the human brain is complicated.
