I have never heard anyone want to emulate any culture from African countries or Caribbean cultures. They want to be us from head to toe. They also had to immigrate here to find the success they couldn't find in their countries of origin. What type of people find success in other countries, yet refuse to return home to fight for their country and people? Y'all better learn our history and tell it.

I had a college professor, Jamaica born and raised that studied every facet of sociology and the human mind around the world. He is brilliant mind, brilliant orator, etc; one of the sharpest minds to this day I have ever met. In his younger years he was invited to speak in the states during the Jim Crowe days. He was in a small town in North Carolina. The professor that invited him told him he will be fine in a white only store. When walking in white people immediately glared at him angrily. He walked to the front and asked the clerk where they keep film for a camera. She heard his accent and immediately was warm toward him. She asked him where he was from. He told her Jamaica and he was here to speak at a college and she immediately let everyone else who had been staring know he was Jamaican and they welcomed him. Yall are mad at the wrong fucking people. If foreign folks feel high and mighty about thenselves, it is because they were enabled and emboldened to feel superior by WHITE AMERICANS.
