Race and class are connected. Democrats have co-opted race politics for their own gain, but it doesn't mean we can't take meaningful positions on class struggle issues relating to race. This shouldn't be hard to talk about but here we are.

The majority of working class ppl are black. We can't separate the two. It's not one. It's both. If ppl feel uncomfortable hearing about racial issues, I would ask them...why are they so uncomfortable?

I think the fundamental misunderstanding here that causes folks to talk past each other is class first politics encompasses race because of how stratified white supremacy has made our country economically. Ex: Oprah is siding with Bezos and Biden, not Cornel West.

I noticed Jimmy was bad on Black issues a little while ago. Turned me off from watching him a bit. Kurt Metzger is pretty cringe talking about anything race related as well Great answer by Cornel. Hated the Jimmy disagreeing reaction. White Supremacy isn't compromisable.
