So your debunk of racial differences in IQ is a professor Sternberg saying that there's more to a person than IQ?

He doesn't debunk anything. He lies and says IQ isn't predictive of success (it is) and then whines about racism. He also studies human development, whatever the hell that means. Why not talk to actual psychologists who study IQ and human intelligence?

OK, I watched the whole thing, where’s the “debunking?” The only counterfactual he provided was the claim that IQ doesn’t usually predict real life outcomes, which is demonstrably false. IQ has a strong correlation with not only individual salaries, but also national GDPs.

Claiming there's more to life than IQ doesn't debunk IQ statistics; it's just pointing out the obvious. IQ is a proxy for g. It's an imperfect proxy, but the best we have, and it has solid predictive power for a range of outcomes. Moreover, these other types of intelligence (e.g., emotional intelligence, practical intelligence) weaken his argument, since it's been consistently shown that they are largely attributable to g, which IQ aims to measure.

The “professor” did not debunk anything and whined about other qualities (like EQ) contribute to worth of a person. We are talking about IQ, not EQ. The studies have held up, which is why he pivoted.
