There's been a crackling sound throughout the first inning of Red Sox-Yankees Game 1. At times, it's been barely noticeable. But at times, like when the Yankees recorded the final out of the first inning, it's been really loud. Seems to be worse when the crowd is loud.

• Basketball 🏀 is the most-played team sport in the US (by a lot) • Tennis 🎾 exploded in 2020 • Pickleball 🥒 exploded in 2022 • Frisbee 🥏 is declining (maybe due to the rise of cornhole/spikeball/etc.) Read more analysis of SFIA's data:

The amount of history Cori Close has made at UCLA is ASTRONOMICAL. And LOOK at the emotion in the moment as the clock hits zero, and Close leads the Bruins to the NCAA National Title Game for the FIRST time ever. Just incredible.

Re-watching some of the Blackhawks' game. Kantserov seemed much more aggressive and comfortable as the game went along. This was a shift in the third period where he lays two big hits and nearly leads to Bertuzzi finding Kane for a goal.

How about a Rockhurst Baseball team? Rockhurst snapped UIndy's 16 game win streak and wins both games of the doubleheader by the scores of 12-4 and 5-4. Freshman Michael Laudando threw a complete game in Game 1 of the DH, then had 2 hits in game two of the DH. He leads the team in hitting at .373. #D2Baseball

Georgia leads the country in scoring at 54.8 a game, 480 yards a game on top of it. Mike Bobo is leading one of the best offenses in the country and I don’t see them slowing down. #GoDawgs

So LIV Riyadh averaged 12,000 viewers on FS2. To put this in perspective: The American Cornhole League averages over 50,000 viewers. So more people watch pro Cornhole than watch Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau playing pro golf. $2B well spent. 🤯

👌Business as usual in Russia: there's a gaping hole in the floor of a bus — but somehow there's always money for the Oreshnik missile. The video was filmed in Irkutsk.

Whenever there's a remaster of a game, I always like when there's a realtime toggle for the original graphics. It's neat to see how the new atmosphere compares to the original, ect.

BREAKING: West Tehran residents are reporting a loud, continuous sound—like a massive gas tank bursting—paired with a strong smell of sulfur and gas. The noise has lasted for hours across Azadi, Salsabil, and central areas. One local noted: "The air is heavy and the sound is constant."

Hits the nail on the head. As more & more people turn towards Dublin, the SDLP finds itself stranded in Westminster. Worth noting that SDLP MPs can attend the Oireachtas GFA Committee. To be fair of the two former SDLP MPs - one of them had a good attendance record.
