Correcting a narrative from some... Yes, it's true that Americans think the health care system in this country is bad on quality, coverage & cost... But Americans LIKE their OWN health care. They are satisfied with their costs & think the quality & coverage is excellent/good.

were you able to poll the 68,000 who are dead from not having basic healthcare? or the 338,000 who would be alive today if we had universal healthcare during covid?

you’re either stupid or pretending to be. yeah, health services in this country are pretty good IF YOU CAN AFFORD THEM and presuming your insurer hasn’t denied your claim for some random ass reason. plus, most americans are USED to how mediocre the US system is and don’t know there’s better out there.

Commentary on this suffers greatly from confusing health care with health insurance - they are used interchangeably when they are not the same thing.

If you've never been provided anything other than gruel to eat, have nothing to compare it to, and occasionally a dash of cinnamon is added, you might be satisfied. But it's still gruel, Harry.

"An estimated 112 million (44%) American adults are struggling to pay for healthcare, and more than double that number (93%) feel that what they do pay is not worth the cost."

This doesn't add to for me. I speak to people about health insurance all the time. The only happy ones are government employees and large Corp employees. Everyone else hates it.

I hate to say it CNN but you are polling the wrong people, my healthcare monthly premium covers little and cost a lot!

Because you have a country built on the selfish cult of me since reagan and as long as the insurance companies keep those in the middle happy just enough they know they’re safe

Americans don't realize rationing is a major component of every health care system. A national system would just replace the government as the party doing the rationing.

58% are satisfied with the cost because they are subsidized by the other 40% or their employer.
