I don't see any issue here, that's the house rules. The dealer wasn't paying attention to the table limits. They bounce around from different tables with different limits, so she just made a mistake. Also, just because the casino mistakenly let the player bet those limits before doesn't mean he has some sort of right to continue to do it. That makes no sense. Last, they still let him play, just with the correct limits. They have strict rules and technically if they break the rules, they can lose their gambling license. Again, I see no issue.
