The WHOLE of UK is a scam. Honestly, we complain about Ghana, Nigeria about scam and that's true but at least you know it's a Hustle but in the UK, they'll use euphemisms and all sorts of legalese to squeeze money out of you, and they'll even do so trying to convince you, they're doing you a favour. I keep it simple, NO CONTRACT, NO OBLIGATION, unless there's harm, damage or injury caused by my direct or indirect actions.

You would think you’ve heard it all and your is worse. In my own case, they were demanding £200 for “DEEP CLEANING” and £140 for gardening after vacating the premises for more than 5 weeks in a rainy season where grass grows rapidly even after constant trimming. They didn’t even dispute the fact that I cleaned, they were audaciously contesting DEEP CLEANING. They thought they had a dumsky, they didn’t know I thrive on court cases as a 14 years Court Registrar. I am sure the Tribunal judge was flabbergasted when he saw my 7-hours well-curated, front-loaded written address with more than 43 well-labelled documentary evidences accurately annexured and precisely referred. He dismissed their frivolous claim and awarded them £50.

So if you had not spent extra time there you'd not have been charged the extra 200£ cleaning fee or what are they claiming the 200 is for when the item has been charged for already. It's not like you had to use the venue the next day and had to pay for another cleaning fee

Criminals. Leaving Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I made sure we left on the last day of the month. I personally cleaned the whole house so I can get back my deposit of 1,200£. I was given 1000£ and they said they used 200 for cleaning. And Nigerians were saying I was lucky because most times they would have given me half of the deposit. 😳

I mean I use an Airbnb somewhere in Europe for 3 days, after checking out, they said I need to pay extra cleaning fee cos the beddings was dirty and the bathroom drainage has some traces of hair. I was like what r you expecting the beddings to look like after 3 days of using it

Just leave a review worthy of their dubious behaviour. You see in Uk they’ll do you official 419 that is legally backed up, more reason I take things up with them officially too. Normal routine is taking pictures and videos before and after moving out and reading documents well..

They brought in imaginary cleaners to clean the venue just before the extra 30mins was spent 😂😂 Too funny It would have even made sense if they had argued that the cleaners was there at the supposed closing time to clean but were forced to wait an extra 30mins "Dem be thief"

The previous flat I stayed in they wanted to do same thing to me when I left after I took my time to properly clean and even offered them some money for what ever they found left and they wanted more. I took them to the tenancy deposit scheme settlement and I basically won. I was only asked to pay just a little more. I then wished I never agreed to give them that initial money

Times are hard, dem no see clients so they remembered they once had a "Nigerian Prince" client that they can milk some more 😂
