Suno got hacked in November 2025. That same month, they raised $250 million. They told zero customers. Over the next eight months, they raised another $400 million on top of that. Their valuation more than doubled to $5.4 billion. Hundreds of thousands of users had their emails, phone numbers, and Stripe payment data in a hacker's hands the entire time, and Suno said nothing. The leaked source code confirmed what the music industry has been saying in court. Suno scraped 2 million YouTube music clips, 62,000 hours from Pond5, 12,000 hours from Deezer, and planned to grab a million hours of podcasts. They used Bright Data proxy rotation to bypass YouTube's anti-bot protections. The scraping instructions are in the actual codebase, logged by platform. When 404 Media broke the story, Suno called it a "limited security incident" and said individual notifications "were not warranted." They scraped human art without asking. They got breached and hid it for eight months while raising $650 million. The artists, the users, and the investors all got the same treatment. Suno took what it needed from each of them and moved on. That's what an AI company looks like when it sees the world as a training set.

OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school. Confronted by the superior combat capability and determined resistance of the security forces, the terrorists were forced to abandon their criminal mission and flee in confusion without achieving their objective. During the encounter, parts of the school infrastructure sustained damage but the attempt was well contained by troops in conjunction with the Nigeria Police Force personnel. 🔵 UPDATE 🔵 A woman is recovering following an altercation that occurred last week in the northwest community of Edgemont, which resulted in the death of 1 man. 📍 At approx. 4:15 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, we were called to the 0 to 100 block of Edgemont Court N.W., for reports of an altercation inside a residence. Upon arrival, police located a man in his 40s in medical distress, as well as a woman in her 30s who had sustained injuries. The man was pronounced deceased on scene & the woman was transported to hospital in stable condition. A witness was also located at the scene who was uninjured. After a thorough investigation, police believe that the man had lured the woman to the residence under a false pretence of a property showing. While in the residence, the man attacked the woman without provocation. An altercation ensued, which resulted in the death of the man. The woman was able to escape the residence & get the attention of neighbours, who called 911. The man & woman were not involved in a domestic relationship. An autopsy was conducted today, Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, by The Office of the Chief Medical, which identified the man as 48-year-old Shahbaz AHMED. As investigators have determined that the woman was acting in self-defence, AHMED’s death has been deemed a non-culpable homicide & no charges will be laid in this incident. “An incident of this nature is extremely rare & deeply unsettling for the victim, her family & all Calgarians,” says Acting Staff Sergeant Scott Guterson of the CPS Homicide Unit. “The victim’s actions undoubtedly saved her life & our thoughts are with her as she continues to recover.” To protect the privacy of the victim, no further details will be released.
