Yes, they pass on the prices. Everyone has been transparent about that. But with higher prices, people buy less. They’ve lost sales because of the higher prices and now they have the nationwide numbers to back that up. Bonus for them: I never had a membership- now I do.

It shows how greedy they are double dipping. I do not shop there. They should be investigated for price gouging.
