Could a single Hezbollah fiber-optic FPV strike could have a greater impact than an entire wave of missiles? Every resistance operation has two key components: its military aspect, and its propaganda aspect. Hezbollah’s fiber-optic FPV drones, which cost under $500, are disabling Israeli Merkava tanks worth $5 to 7 million. The IOF does not have a single weapon in their arsenal that can detect these new drones, which are completely immune to traditional electronic jamming devices. VPol journalist Calla Walsh (Calla) explains. ■ Rather than a radio link, the fiber-optic drones are physically tethered to their operator by an ultra-thin fiber-optic cable that stretches for up to 60km, transmitting video and data back to the pilot. ■ The Israeli occupation has been shocked by the introduction of these drones into the battlefield, and there is no indication the IOF had any foresight or intel on Hezbollah’s supply chain. ■ These drones were first deployed by Russia and Ukraine, but there’s no sign of direct Russian involvement, nor is there any need for it. Rather, Hezbollah is closely studying other warzones to innovate and adapt for their own battle against Israeli occupation, and information on fiber-optic FPVs is open-source. ■ Israeli media describes it as “a technological arms race, and although Israel is at the forefront of interception technology, there is currently no complete solution to the threat… the battlefield in Lebanon proves that sometimes a single thin thread can threaten even the most heavily armored technological systems… Israel possesses Arrow missiles and F-35 Lightning II aircraft, but it has failed to deal with cheap explosive drones in southern Lebanon.”

Across the Republic of Balochistan, the common Baloch people continue their peaceful resistance against the Pakistani external military. They are calling upon the Pakistani Army, its intelligence agencies, and all state institutions and companies associated with exploitative projects to leave Balochistan. Their position is that the people of Balochistan have grown weary of occupation and economic exploitation. The Baloch nation has resolved to determine its own future and believes it is fully capable of managing its own resources, designing its own development policies, and shaping its own destiny. Today, the Pakistani military is facing widespread public resistance in Balochistan. History has shown that when an occupying foreign force is confronted with sustained resistance from the local population, wise nations choose to withdraw rather than continue their occupation. Today, Islamabad's military, backed by financial assistance from the United States, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and China, continues to bombard the Baloch people. However, it should remember that victory is not determined by rifles, artillery, or fighter jets. True victory belongs to those nations whose roots are deeply embedded in their homeland and firmly strengthened by the support of their people. The roots of the Baloch nation are deeply anchored in the soil of Balochistan, sustained by the strength and support of its people. In contrast, soldiers of the Pakistani military are deployed to Balochistan in exchange for a monthly salary of a few thousand rupees, where they are participating in the genocide of the Baloch people. Balochistan is home to a civilization that dates back nearly 9,000 years. By contrast, Pakistan is a 78 years old artificial buffer zone, invented by the British and sustained through a mercenary military structure. Every political project has a lifespan and eventually reaches its conclusion. According to this perspective, Pakistan project has now reached the end of its lifespan.

🚨 BREAKING Arabic IDF Lieutenant Colonel Lieutenant Colonel Ella Waweya | إيلا واوية describes the attacks on Hezbollah. Translation: “Within 10 minutes and in several areas simultaneously: The IDF executes a strike targeting approximately 100 headquarters and military infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah The IDF has just carried out a wide-scale strike targeting headquarters and military infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah organization in areas of Beirut, the Bekaa, and southern Lebanon. This strike is the largest to target Hezbollah's infrastructure since the beginning of Operation Roaring Lion. In this strike, the IDF targeted headquarters, command and control centers, and military systems belonging to Hezbollah: Intelligence headquarters and central bodies used by Hezbollah elements to direct and plan terrorist plots against the citizens of the State of Israel Infrastructure for Hezbollah's fire and naval systems responsible for launching rockets toward IDF forces on land and sea and toward the territory of the State of Israel Assets belonging to Hezbollah's Radwan Force and Air Unit (127), which are among its elite units This strike was based on precise intelligence information and was carefully planned over long weeks by the Operations Directorate, the Intelligence Directorate, the Air Force, and the Northern Command, with the aim of intensifying the strike being directed at Hezbollah. Most of the infrastructure targeted was embedded in the heart of civilian areas, as part of the exploitation practiced by Hezbollah of civilians in Lebanon as human shields to protect its activities. And before executing the strikes, measures were taken to minimize harm to non-involved parties as much as possible. Hezbollah has chosen to join the battle and operate under the auspices of the Iranian regime, which harms the State of Lebanon and its citizens. The State of Lebanon and its citizens must oppose Hezbollah's positioning in civilian areas and its attempts at military armament. The IDF will continue to operate forcefully against Hezbollah and will not allow harm to come to the citizens of the State of Israel.”

The response from Iran and the Lebanese resistance against Israel. 🇮🇷🇱🇧 🇮🇱 In a similar vein to the warnings issued by Israel urging Lebanese citizens to evacuate an area of 1,641 square kilometres, Iran announced a similar zone in northern Israel covering 2,860 square kilometres, including the city of Haifa, designating it as a military zone and calling for the evacuation of Israeli settlers from the area. In recent days, northern Israel has been subjected to numerous waves of joint bombardments by Iran and Hezbollah. Meanwhile, on the ground front, Hezbollah is managing to deal a severe blow to the quintessential Israeli armoured vehicle, the Merkava tank, which, despite its high level of protection, has proven vulnerable to close-range ambushes involving guided anti-tank missiles, FPV drones, or coordinated attacks in the urban & rugged terrain of southern Lebanon, where a well-established Lebanese militia is familiar with the terrain. Around 73 to 84 tanks have been destroyed or damaged since the start of the new Israeli invasion in March (in my case, I have been able to compile a figure of 78 tanks), although other reports have already put the number of tanks hit at around a hundred (bulldozers and excavators may have been included in this figure). What does seem to be confirmed is that March 2026 has been one of the periods with the highest losses of Israeli tanks in decades, demonstrating that Hezbollah has regained its capabilities and learnt from past mistakes to inflict greater damage on Israeli ground forces.
