The group is known for direct actions against Israeli-linked arms manufacturers. The July 5 proscription under the Terrorism Act makes it a crime to support, fundraise for, or belong to Palestine Action. Police cited breaches of the Act, which now criminalizes public expressions of support. A judicial review is set for later this month, though efforts to block the ban have so far failed.
