@P3b7_ Quantum computers could break todays blockchains, also noted by @BlackRock. Thankfully, $QRL has been post-quantum secure with @ledger support since 2018. Now $QRL is innovating with Project Zond, an EVM-compatible Proof-of-Stake upgrade. Why it matters

@P3b7_ By the way, QRL is compatible with ledger-- when will it work with ledger live?

@P3b7_ Either you are prepared, or you are not...

@P3b7_ What’s at stake? Well $QRL (provably quantum secure using NIST-approved pq signatures) is transitioning to a proof of stake network. It can be bought with fiat through the wallet (thanks @DevelopmentVolt ) and secured with @Ledger @QRLedger

@P3b7_ Don’t worry. Quamtum Resistant Ledger already solves the problem

Let's not call it a backup plan. We need consensus, on an actual plan, so build and test can begin. Once delivered, users need years to migrate, ecosystem needs time to adapt. If you add all that up, it's going to take over 5 years... which means there is already risk. This is 10x more challenging than Taproot. Taproot was backward compatible and added value. This upgrade is the opposite. It will slow the chain and result in 6 months of backlog transactions to migrate. And there is no agreement on approach. Taproot took 3 years. This will take much much longer. If folks like Saylor keep spinning the issue, it will be a giant mess, but probably worse than that.

@P3b7_ This is why I’m bullish on postquantum encryption Whoever figures it out wins the next cycle!

@P3b7_ Like others noted here, there is a Ledger app for $QRL - the blockchain using Post-Quantum Cryptography since its genesis block in 2018. The app works with the project’s wallet but not Ledger Live. Would love to see that on Live, though!

@P3b7_ In corp. governance, a CEO calling out a CTO often signals misalignment with strategy or execution, usually followed by internal scrutiny. For @P3b7_, Quantum, though it wasn’t before, is now a pending issue to be addressed, since @_pgauthier has a sales company in the mix ✅
