Peralta may well be downhill and/or cooked but 1 start 2 days after being traded to a new team aka with very little time to implement any changes is a bit early to come to any conclusions don't you think?

Didn’t the Mets get basically one of our best relievers in history in Brooks railey off of them for nothing?

I like how he always has to point out that the Mets did something wrong when Peralta laid another complete dud yesterday for another team.

I'm not a big fan of Peralta but other than Pitre, they dumped two other guys who haven't been able to even figure out A ball

Relax, it’s one game and it was in Colorado . He will be back to his Brewer version with the new pitching coach. Look at Peterson, yes he had one terrible game but other than that he has been solid. Staff has also ruined Tong with the changes they forced on him

MLB Network did a fabulous job displaying the metrics of Peralta’s change in landing spots and arm angles that have shifted 2025-26. Hard to change that in a couple of days.

The Rays rarely lose a trade… this one will be fascinating to revisit

Rays needed to do it. You have to give to get. Deal will be good for both teams.

yo heyman lowkey wondering if the mets actually cooked the rays in that peralta-for-prospects flip since tampa almost never misses fr

It’s the rays and prospects. I doubt it

Let's not concentrate on who brought Peralta to the Mets in the first place

I don't think the Mets got on over on the Rays. The Rays didn't give up the farm for Peralta. Erik Neander knows Peralta is a gamble.

Either hes hurt or the rays will fix him but its one start they have to see him to be able to fix mechanics
