@JeremyVineOn5 I couldn’t, we’d just argue the whole time. I had a lovely date the other day, she was a nurse that was voting Tory because “she wanted to keep all of her £30,000 salary not pay it in taxes” and it kinda blew my mind.

No, my political stance is so diametrically opposed to a Tory mindset that any relationship would have stalled at the get go. I'm not against others having a different opinion but knowing someone supports the ideology that has ruined this country and the lives of most of those who live here. That isn't a task I'm up to . This is the WORST government in my 61 years, and I remember Thatcher.

Spot on - it is no longer a question of policies with the TORIES (though they can be horrific) - it really is a question of moriality. There is no longer any need for a Tory to believe in truth, decency, honesty or any of the virtues which once made up the concept of the honourable MP.

@JeremyVineOn5 Absolutely not . Toryism is now a brand and it’s one that I find utterly repulsive for its casual cruelty, callous selfishness and slavish devotion to money. Vile, morally repugnant…. I could go on ……
