To elaborate i know it's a lot cheaper to start and I was just mainly talking about my own experiences There's a lot of free and cheap assets nowadays and you really don't have the break the bank to start out but at the high end it's gonna cost a pretty penny

High end can be very high end indeed. But I do feel a lot of people are putting FAR too much weight on a high end model. Most people are better off starting with a simple PNG or a simple chibi rigging. Get used to streaming and entertaining an audience first, then consider investing thousands of dollars. Like for fun, I made my own South Park style avatar over a single weekend. Cost me $0, just some time. Basic art and rigging is not that difficult. Free to use software are aplenty. Follow a few guides and you can get a working model in a few days worth of effort.

@scarra I am not a vtuber, but I watch a lot of content. This is a terrible take. The model means nothing is the content isn't good. Don't put wanting an ironmouse experience on a pedestal, it's free. The content matters infinitely more than the avatar.

@scarra I’m not going to lie, that’s quite literally not his point in his video at all. Where in the video does he say “by having a experience model your content becomes 100% better” He says that top tier models are not cheap, and that’s normal for the average price if anyone wants
