Spent the last while getting back into the old language, and there's been loads of positive movements regarding getting Ulster Protestants to start learning it. One thing that helped me open minds up was pointing out the fantastic history that Irish Protestants had helping the language. Sectarian sh@t like this does exactly what Loyalists claimed the language to be, a weapon used to intimate and humilate Protestants. These lads will sing songs about Tone, McCracken and Russell, yet in the next breath show they're exactly the sectarian bigots the United Irishmen opposed All "Prods" support Rangers and sing "The Billy Boys". Great take lads So much for the spread and the love of the language. Stuff like this is childish and shows nothing but a grift. Check out the COI link for a video well worth watching
