possibly, but sometimes just being on a one-color background makes your body stand out a lot more even when painted the same color. oftentimes being on a more detailed surface (and painting well) is much better than being 1 shade on a 1 shade background

Notice how they’re not even playing. It’s just a “look at my painting skills” even though they’d never be able to do it in a game setting 😂

That’s basically the equivalent of saying you don’t have to be the fastest in tag, just outrun the slower runner. Sometimes putting in the effort is what makes the game enjoyable.

You get spotted much easier if you are one color. You stand out more from the background, since the background is not solid black, so you would need to add detail. Hunters will look for easy spots. The more complicated the spot, the less likely the hunter will check thoroughly.

Let these guys restore the cultural properties.
