@NickDixonITV Cash strapped councils - many going bankrupt in recent years - are being forced to put our council tax up, forced to make cuts because their funding has been axed by the Tories & now Labour. Every aspect of our lives is being downgraded because of corporate lobbyist's greed...

@NickDixonITV Pot holes are also caused by 3rd party contractors digging up roads to lay pipes and cables and not repairing them properly. They should provide a warranty on these repairs and fined if they fail to honour it.

@NickDixonITV Will this apply to pavement too? Are all the trip hazards, broken tactile paving and broken paving slabs going to be fixed too?

@NickDixonITV What ever is promised won’t work. Our roads are like negotiating a building site and they are in such a state that they will never be fixed.

@NickDixonITV They can report how many they've filled.. But the standard of repair needs looking at.. Within few weeks the same pothole is beginning to come back as the repair is sub standard

@NickDixonITV Figures from the RAC show drivers encounter an average of 6 potholes per mile in England and Wales. Pothole damage to cars costs on average £600 to fix. I blame Meghan Markle.

@NickDixonITV 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. The roads in the UK are absolutely disgusting. The council don't care. What's a point in an MOT

@NickDixonITV Wait‼️I’m sure the extortionate car tax that everyone pays is to maintain our roads‼️🤔 If not, where is that extortionate amount of money going? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤮🤮What is it being used for?!! 🤔👀
