One thing to take away from that Jay Z interview is that he’s fully aware of the public perception around him. He knows the haters, his colleagues like 50 Cent, etc. He’s made peace with it and is intentional about what he chooses to pay attention to. He’s truly won at life.

Do you agree with this type of discipline? He’s his stepdad. I think he did exactly what he was supposed to do. He took him outside away from the mom and other kids and he didn’t touch him. He let him vent. He listened to him. Then, he made him do his workout and then explained why he was in the wrong. Just because he seasoned his words while explaining doesn’t mean shit. Sometimes step parents stepping up is all a kids needs. I applaud this step father for caring about the mother and her kids enough to take the time to show this boy guidance and discipline and that he cares for him. Good job! 👏🏼
