📣Thursday 9th of July 2026, further very important update. 📣 Following on from yesterday’s post revealing complaints are being investigated by The Metropolitan Police’s Professional Standards Directorate and The Scottish Police Authority concerning Covid, vaccine and government related suppression of crimes. Today, Ian Clayton and I have sent a letter to Baroness Hallett Chair of the Covid inquiry and Mr Hugo Keith the lead Barrister detailing serious concerns regarding the potential integrity of the inquiry and the likelihood it has been compromised. As such a request to pause the inquiry has been made and they’ve been furnished with the proof of complaints being investigated and that a number of senior officials did not provide some very relevant and important information to the inquiry. The on going public duty of candour has not been fulfilled and as such serious omissions either accidental or deliberate will have negatively impacted the outcome of the inquiry in some way. If those significant omissions were deliberate then potential Perjury and Misconduct criminal offences are identified. It’s explained in the short video below. While giving the opening statements for the Module 8 hearing on 'Children and Young People' this week, UK Covid-19 Inquiry official counsel, Ms Dobbin, set out a presumption that school closures and lockdowns were an unavoidable or even desirable response: while acknowledging that school closures were "enormously damaging", before hearing any of the evidence, the Inquiry appears to consider that school closures are on balance effective and worthwhile enough to "nonetheless be needed in the future". £10 BILLION WASTED ON PPE AND NOBODY IS TO BLAME UK government just got the results of its Covid inquiry. The number is huge. Out of £14.9 billion spent on protective gear like masks and gowns, almost £10 billion of it was wasted. That means for every £3 spent, £2 went down the drain. The inquiry boss, Baroness Heather Hallett, looked into something called the VIP lane. This was a fast track system. She messaged government minister Michael Gove Michael Gove back in May 2020. Her company then got £203 million in contracts. Police are still investigating this deal, so some details are being kept back until that investigation finishes. Here is the strange part. Hallett said she found no proof of corruption in the final decisions ministers made. She just found a system that happened to favor people who knew the right person. You can decide for yourself what that means. Boris Johnson Boris Johnson responded by saying he had not even read the report. Then he said the government's Covid response was outstanding anyway. Matt Hancock Matt Hancock and other former ministers still defend the VIP lane. They say it helped them find good suppliers fast. They believe their loved ones died partly because staff did not have the equipment to keep everyone safe. Hallett gave the government 11 ideas to fix this for next time. Better planning. BREAKING: Teaching Council Inquiry against Enoch Burke deferred after legal challenge A Teaching Council "fitness to teach" Inquiry against Enoch Burke will not proceed as planned tomorrow. The Inquiry was in relation to a complaint made against Enoch Burke regarding his presence at Wilson's Hospital School. Yesterday, Enoch Burke was forced to initiate High Court proceedings against the members of the Panel appointed to hear the Inquiry. These are Andy Pike (Chairperson), Adrian Guinan and Clodagh O'Hara. Andy Pike has promoted on his social media a St Patrick’s Day parade float which mocked and parodied Enoch Burke and the controversy around his suspension from Wilson’s Hospital School. Andy Pike has also promoted posts advocating to "make the world a little less binary" and criticising those who refuse to use the "they" pronoun. Enoch Burke raised other serious issues including the recent scandal around the nomination of Claire Callanan as Chairperson of his DAP dismissal appeal hearing. Claire Callanan did not disclose that she holds a senior position in the Church of Ireland or that her husband, Senior Counsel Lyndon MacCann, is one of the most powerful men in that organisation. Wilson's Hospital School is a Church of Ireland school. Enoch Burke submitted that this scandal must be resolved before any Teaching Council Inquiry takes place. Today's hearing was marked by a controversy around the refusal of High Court Judge Micheal O'Connell to ask a simple question. Under official rules, the members of the Inquiry Panel are required to "operate independently" of the Director of the Teaching Council. This is because the Director is the one who prosecutes the complaint against the teacher. The Panel is required to remain impartial between the Director and the teacher. Surprisingly, there was no appearance in court today by the members of the Panel or anyone representing them. Instead, there was a team of Barristers and Solicitors, led by Barrister Eoghan O'Sullivan BL, acting for the Director.
