I'm surprised that the squirrel didn't just go higher up in the first tree, rather than running over to a different tree.

This was 1 of 4 coyotes I saw Tuesday in Graceland Cemetery. Note the different ID tags and devices from the Cook County Urban Coyote Project. 1. No collar, 1 pink ear tag 2. Radio collar + 2 pink ear tags 3. Radio collar + 2 light yellow ear tags 4. No collar, no ear tags

I’m glad the coyote didn’t decide to catch a Loerzel. That camerawork was close!

I did not expect the squirrel — or the coyote — to come running so close to me!

When two cartoons converge. Somewhere in a parallel universe, moose & road runner are besting Boris & Natasha.

I have a similar video of my toddler and a squirrel 😂. I think the squirrels like to play like this, tbh.

Reminds me of Looney Tunes. Is that the cemetery on Clark STreet?

Coyote is giving you a look as if you are the reason he didn't catch the squirrel.

My dog chases squirrels too but I think the situation is not as life or death for the squirrel in that scenario. Also, she never catches them, they always seem to know when to climb.

lol. I took my dogs to the park once, once n letum run wild, dammed if they didn't catch a squirrel too far from a tree. We left in shame, well I did, they were all smiles in the car headed back home.

This short clip could definitely serve as a #Chicago metaphor, with strong Mayoral/Council energy clearly on display to those of us out in the nether regions who might still be playing along at home. 🐿️
