Family member had a fox come everyday for a snack. Noticed it had mange. Gave it a little Ivermectin in a hot dog everyday. A few days later, it's fur was growing back. Looked healthy again. (It was the horse paste one).

They should call animal control so they can come and catch the coyote and possibly restore it back to health and then let it back out into the woods. We had two foxes in our neighborhood with terrible mange, and one of my neighbors put out a humane cage caught them And turned them over to a wildlife sanctuary. They restored their health and them that brought them back into the neighborhood and let them free. It was beautiful and kind.
