Honestly even before all this, I never liked him as Shri Ram, like he looked too old , zero physique, looked nothing like a warrior, bad posture, not good looking enough.

exactly

He was so lucky there was no social media nitpickers back then

Whatever he had, he did a good job during his time. The way they told him to act, he acted, and he is a good actor. Lord Ram is not your friendly neighbourhood superhero. Even in anger, he has grace, and no mortal being can portray it. So stop trolling and get a life.

Because that time no one is their to troll. But now everyone will start to become ...

mc zinda rahna hai tumko bsdk , paisa mil raha pr ka toh kuch bhi post kar doge kya , zyada bakchodi kiya na toh aisa nazar shrap lagega ki hall mein bhi picture nhi lagg payega tumlog ka mc.

arun govil will give shrap 🥲🙏

no ,ram bhakts will give shrap for paying with our sentiments

@B0bsshant haan laure randi putra mc pura tera tl bhara hua hai pr se aur tum madharchod mere ko batayega kya thik hai kya nhi , 2 rs lagi apni matari ko relwa mc sala bhadwaa

@B0bsshant tere jaisa nalla nhi hu ki baith ke 2 rs ke liye pr karu, lekin tera bhi thik hai 2rs jama kar ke apni maa ko chudwa lena kotha se bahut roti hai jab sab chodte hai pata nhi enjoy karti hai ki sach mein roti hai but maza bahot deti hai ekdum burr jo malti hai land pe kyaKehnaUska

Since everyone is picking old portrayals of Shri Ram, why is nobody talking about Gurmeet Chaudhuri, he played Shri Ram pretty well I think.

Do you even understand the words - धीर गंभीर ? Calm, steady & unnerved ? That was what ShriRama. He became emotional for very few occasions.

that's why i never hyped the first Ramayan and Mahabharat bec i know they are so dull and emotionless driven by nostalgia bias!

Maturity is when realising god himself said in bhagwatgeeta har parishtithi mai jo ek sa bhaaw rakhta hai wahi ishwar ko pane ke yogya hota hai

Randi ke bache madharchod Bob, expresion mtlb saiyara jaisa pagl jaisa hasna rona gussakrna ni hota hai ek episode dekha h ajtk ramanand sagar ramayan ka? Dialogues sune h uske?bohot kuch dialogues se express kia h arun govilji ne, mai gen gaali nhi deta pr mjboor krte ho tmlog

toh ranbir ko jab miscast bole the woh post kar na arun govil ko target karke ranbir ko kyu set kar raha hai lawde

Ram is not character , he is god . Who knows future as well . For him happiness and sorrow both are same . So arun goyal gave that knowing look like he knows what isgonna happen next . PR krna hai toh thoda dimaag lagao.

And you're just mocking an actor for a director's choice.

Was Arun Sir’s portrayal of Ram convincing? Yes. Does Ranveer’s performance have the same effect? No. The question is not whether or not Ram is emotional; rather, when you see an actor playing the role of Ram, do you feel as though you are actually looking at Ram himself?

I had grown up watching NDTV imagine’s Ramayana (which was made by Sagar productions as well) and trust me, the restraint in expression was what Gurmeet did as Rama too. So, when I watched Arun ji’s performance, it did not feel flat at all. In fact, I loved it.

Hamesha haste raho chahe jo bhi ho

K**ll me for saying this this might be reason for low T hindus in current era if you know what i mean butterfly effect playin

Be careful bro for bakths arun govil is more ram than lord Rama himself

God knows how anyone can say ranbir looks bad than arun. Arun ki to body posture bhi bekar thi

Bhai wo tulsidas ji ka ramayan hai not valmiki ji. Correct yourself laudu.

How are these people experts of Ramayan?

most over rater actor tbh.. it was just his luck .. but so average was the performance and appearance..

Expressive the ram ji pr calm bhi bahut the

.

Yes he was not great, his sheer luck but the dialogues & music is what make the show great! …. As a kid I preferred watching Mahabharat & found this version of Ramayan boring. But I saw it again as adult & I understood the meaning of dialogues is when I loved this show!

Honestly i think he was just a bad actor

posting this like its not the most predictable ending ever

Thank God someone said this, Sagar's Ramayana is amazing but sorry, the characterization and the actor playing him is very inaccurate

Omg. Fwaaaa. 🤣

And it's soo real and practical - stones never floated bec ram was written in them Ths vanaras used engineering skills to make a bridge. It's all written in valmiki ramayana

Because Ram is all about acting and not reacting. That's the pinnacle of human stability in almost all aspects and scenarios of life barring a few which are constantly debated to this date( Sita's exile , Bali's Vadh) Govil's Ram is the one that actually lived in people’s homes and hearts for decades. The calm, restrained, Maryada Purushottam people still picture. Adding crass faaa sounds over that gem just makes your poor PR look more insecure. Ranbir’s film isn’t even out yet and he too is trying to achieve the same standards that Govil has set but first glances of the trailer and clips that are out aren't doing him or the movie any favour. Still let the work speak instead of trying to tear down the standard that already exists.
