When I played Wing Commander on my Amiga 500 back in the 1990's, I distinctly remember sitting and watching the bar background. Just relaxing and wondering what my wingmen would want to talk about next.

I loved this game. I'd love to see a remaster. It plays through GOG but it has issues due to things implemented of the time that cause speed problems now.

It's not easy to complete WC1 and WC2 on emulation, but it is possible

I know. I've tried and given up. My reactions aren't what they were 35 years ago. Fantastic game for its time. Very happy memories.

The WC games hold up so well. Unless you’re chasing someone in the one spot on the flight sphere where the controls just don’t quite work right.

Those Wing Commander games were awesome.

Boy I can still remember the code at game launch

WCIII took it to the next level.

The first time I visited Origin was days before WC1 shipped. We were there pitching porting U6 for the Mac. They gave us a copy of WC, and we got a VGA card on the way home. Great times.

That AdLib/Soundblaster music is superior to any other version. It's perfect.
