The fandom right now feels like a sinking ship. Everyone’s just scrambling to prove they were on the “right side,” so when it finally goes under, they can either jump and pretend they were never on board or stay, silently waiting for someone else to come and save it. We are sharing a major update to our General World Models efforts. GWM Worlds 2 can generate full, interactive, real-time video simulations in one continuous 720p stream at 24 fps and audio at 48000 Hz, responding to your inputs as you explore. It is the first world model that generalizes to arbitrary actions rather than a fixed set of actions or just navigation. Dynamic actions are what actually matter for building gaming and interactive experiences, and for training agents in these simulations. We also introduced WorldPrompt, a way to tell GWM-2 that a world can be split into two kinds of state: what persists and what changes over time. Rejoice. Just following up with another quick W in Codex You can now configure your reasoning level in plan mode separately directly from your config file. This is huge for Plus users who want to plan with high or xhigh reasoning levels, and then switch over to medium reasoning for implementation, without needing the slash command. This is a great way to save your usage limits, and now it happens automatically. Even if you're on Pro, this should make you very happy. Prior to this, it was switching you automatically to medium every time you planned, which was pretty annoying. Place this near the top of your config file: plan_mode_reasoning = "high" (or xhigh) 0.150.0 is a massive quality of life update. They're clearly listening. This time I am shouting out Charlie. 🙏
