When Tim Cook took over as CEO, one of his first major acts was to reduce the friction by getting rid of Scott Forstall, due to Forstall’s fights with Jony Ive, Bob Mansfield etc… I often wonder if that was a big mistake. Perhaps the fights were a good thing.

10 more years of jobs and the world would have been much better than what it is today.

This made my night . Thank you for sharing . If Mr. Musk believes this then it goes without saying that things must be said. You cannot ignore the elderly couples who need a driver to lift their luggage into the car. To converse on some social level to establish a comfort zone. Empathy cannot be thrown into the dustbin for profit. Uber and Lyft drivers are some of the happiest people you’ll ever meet. They have found a way to provide for their loved ones without having to slave indoors and be belittled. They make their own hours they enjoy the outdoors they make friends they laugh. How can anyone find it reasonable to push for robotaxi. It’s not needed. What’s needed is a working missile defense system. ICBMs will be the end of humanity. Yes let’s have discussions and brainstorm and argue and thrive. Regards
