Pure racism in the halls of US Congress. What he is saying is that white people are superior to any other race in the military and that having minorities in the military will lower the standards. This is what White Supremacy is.

I presume it was pointed out to Rep. Crane that in fact the military has always been a social experiment, being one of the first institutions to integrate, in placing women in combat positions, and in accepting trans soldiers. A series of most successful experiments, I must say.
