On AEW Grand Slam Australia: Yes, the merch stand was poorly planned out like last year. Yes, there were empty seats and some fans apparently were moved. Yes, a perhaps unwise choice was made with the booking of the first AEW match on the card IMO. But I'll say this, and you can't feel this through a phone screen, but it was such a fun atmosphere and a fun show for the most part. And my cousin (15), whose first ever live show this was, keeps talking about how cool certain spots and moments were (particularly the ladder match and crowd fighting). They made a fan out of him last night, and I just think that's pretty cool. Sure, it won't move the needle, but we were all that kid falling in love with pro-wrestling once upon a time. It's nice to see the tradition continue. So yeah, it was well done show on an emotional level, and on a wrestling level, if not entirely on a logistical level.

Why training a muscle once a week feels like enough. You annihilated your chest on Monday. It was sore until Thursday. By Sunday it felt normal again. Monday you do it again. Seems like a clean week of recovery. Seems sensible. Here's what actually happened: Muscle protein synthesis, the elevated anabolic response to training, peaked around 24 hours post-session and returned to baseline by roughly 36–48 hours. You were sore until Thursday because of eccentric muscle damage and the inflammatory response. The soreness and the stimulus are not the same event. The soreness is the aftermath. The stimulus had already resolved by Tuesday evening. You then had five days where the muscle wasn't just sitting at baseline, waiting for Monday. It was actively atrophying. RUMOR HAS IT👀: An interesting theory on why Harry could've been at Louis' show in Berlin: (©️SchuSchu8437) •There were VIP boxes all around the arena. In the break between Pale Waves and Louis most of them were illuminated. All in the same light EXPECT for one. Which had a green light. •The VIP box right next to the green light was blacked out, by a curtain? Look at the box to the right of it. Every other dark box was very obviously just without light. • Louis kept looking in that direction, at least it looked like that. •Afterwards ,outside of the arena where there was the tour buses enter and the trucks unload. Pretty shortly fans are sent away from that side. Security said they couldn’t stand there anymore and got shooed away. Just when everyone left and no one seemed to pay attention, a completely blacked out VIP Van left the backstage area of the arena and drove by . Let’s talk about RIR, or reps in reserve. I felt like I could get 1 more at 4 reps, yet dug deep and got almost 3 more. If I had Dorian Yates yelling at me, I could have probably gotten 10 more. The issue with these arbitrary rules like RIR and RPE is they don’t account for the mental aspect of lifting. Hence why, since I’m obviously not as smart and awesome as “the science” community and my pro card was a fluke, and I certainly can’t read studies or even the menu at IHOP, I just go until I can’t do another full rep with decent form. Most people train like p*ssies already. Imagine trying to have someone soft as charmin guess how many reps they have left at 4 reps in. Stop overthinking it. No need to go beyond failure, but just lift the damn weight until you can’t do a good rep and then put it down. Or not, whatever. 😂
