I’m not sure why anyone would be surprised that this absolutely insane activity, would have devastating results. I was a NEXRAD Radar tech. What you’re seeing is called inversion. As the sun rises water vapor increases. This “inversion” happens every day in the spring and summer from around 6am to 10am. It’s called ground clutter as well. It’s a simple fact of life with every radar.

Hate to burst your bubble but I watch this radar 24/7. This is going on nonstop and right where the zaps are horrible storms happen. Nice try though but the gig is up. There are whole communities dedicated to these radars. You should be ashamed of yourself.
