The cargo ship’s crew successfully thwarted an explosive drone boat attack in a recent Red Sea encounter, by detonating the remote-controlled attack boat with rifle fire. The small drone boat, known as an uncrewed surface vessel (USV), was trailing the cargo ship. The rifle fire became more rapid as the USV approached the side of the ship1. Eventually, a round appeared to find its mark and set off an explosive component aboard the vessel, causing it to detonate just feet away from the cargo ship. The Tutor, a Liberian-flagged, Greek-owned bulk carrier, was hit on the stern by an explosive-filled uncrewed surface vessel (USV). The Tutor was struck with missiles and an explosive-laden remote-controlled boat on June 12th and had been taking on water. The Tutor is believed to be the second ship sunk by the Iran-backed Houthis since they began attacking merchant vessels in the region in November. The Houthis, who control much of north-western Yemen, say their attacks are a show of support for the Palestinians in the war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. They have claimed - often falsely - that they are targeting ships only linked to Israel, the US or the UK. US and European warships have been deployed to the critical waterway since December as part of an international task force to protect commercial shipping in the crucial waterway.

Extraordinary footage has emerged of Yemeni Houthi fighters seizing what they called an "Israel linked cargo ship" in the Red Sea yesterday. The Houthis have pledged to attack any ship belonging to the "Israeli enemy." Israel has called the seizure an act of "Iranian terrorism."

The Turkish crew of a dry cargo ship gets spooked by the Ukrainian delta-wing long-range strike drone conducting a low pass just several meters from their vessel in the Black Sea waters. Presumably, the OWA-UAV was on its way to hit a Russia-linked ship or proceeded further towards the Russian coast to struck a target on land.

Footage of the Russian VOLGA-4007 cargo ship, attacked by drones in the Black Sea after departing Novorossiysk, shows the vessel completely burned out. Anti-drone protective structures are still visible on board, but judging by the result, they did little to protect the ship.

🇷🇺🇺🇸🇪🇺🇰🇵 NATO SUNK A RUSSIAN SHIP WITH A TORPEDO!? An investigation into the sinking of the cargo ship Ursa Major in 2024 in the Mediterranean Sea shows the ship was attacked! The Russian ship was carrying important cargo to North Korea, but it was sunk last year. According to the investigation, the ship was carrying two 45-tonne nuclear reactor covers for a nuclear icebreaker of the 10510 project being built. The ship departed from St. Petersburg and was heading to Vladivostok via the Mediterranean Sea. The official cargo included two 45-tonne nuclear reactor covers for a nuclear icebreaker and two German 380-tonne mobile port cranes Liebherr 420, which were to be installed in the port of Vladivostok. On December 22, explosions occurred on the ship, and on the 23rd, it sank. An inspection of the damage showed a hole in the hull with a deformation of the metal inward, which indicates a hit from the outside, not an internal explosion. The investigation suggests that armor-piercing torpedoes were used. -> Who is able to sink ships with torpedoes off the coast of Spain? The answer is simple. The crew was rescued by Spain and the captain of the ship was interrogated there. 1/

A clearer footage of the moment of destruction of a Ukrainian unmanned surface vessel (USV) in the Russian port of Sochi earlier on Thursday. The USV was on its way to strike the NEFRIT multi-purpose offshore vessel (green hull) but was hit by Russian gunfire before being able to reach its target. At that time, the NEFRIT vessel was already damaged from the impact of another Ukrainian naval drone.
