The view of the South Fork Fire from Crawford, Nebraska this evening. This is some crazy fire behavior. Nebraska has seen the most active and largest wildfires in the nation this year, and it doesn’t look like it’s stopping. Residents surrounding Crawford are evacuating, and ranchers are trying to get their cattle to safe locations. The fire is now over 16,000 acres. The Cottonwood Fire is a Great Basin monster. The fire is now estimated at 2,000+ acres, and it looks like it’s all of that and possibly more. At this time, all residents and visitors from Hi-Lo Cabins up to Kent Lake have been evacuated. Crews will be taking water from the Pressurized Irrigation pond. Due to this, Beaver City is asking that there is No Watering from the Pressurized Irrigation System until further notice. A massive resource response is ongoing, with another 25,000 acre fire next door also active, The Iron Fire. “She gone.” Thanks to the subscriber who sent in this incredible view of the fire.

I have awful news... As of this morning, 42 homes in Brantley County GA have burned to the ground. The fire, which was 1,000 acres yesterday, has exploded in size and now is 4,000 acres. Please pray for the people who lost everything.

This is not normal. I’ve lived here for 30 years and have never experienced such a low fire response, no planes to put the fire down, nothing. It feels as if someone wants L.A. to burn. I’m sorry if I sound mad or crazy, but this feels like an intentional setup. This is now happening near Brentwood and is coming closer to the Westwood area. These aren’t the mountains or valleys of L.A., but an urban area. It’s the lowest response I’ve ever witnessed.
