The internet is both a boon and a curse. So let’s make it boon. There are hundreds of pages on Insta where such reels are uploaded. They try to make us realize that there are real issues that need to be addressed. It doesn’t matter whether Nehru was a liar or whether the RSS participated in the freedom struggle. What matters is the current situation. We must ask questions of those who are responsible for it. Your MP, your MLA, your DM, your Pradhan, and your Parshad are responsible. They will continue to loot you until you start questioning them. So use your basic rights. Ask questions of those in power. Ask them what they are doing with your tax money. This is our country, and we cannot leave it in the hands of corrupt politicians and babus. Be your own voice. Use the internet and become the voice of others too. Show them your power and remind them that you are more than just a vote.

These timeless sayings remind us that leadership is earned through character, preparation, and service. This election is about more than choosing a President. It is about choosing the direction of our profession. Over the course of this campaign, I have listened. I have engaged. I have reflected. I have travelled across our branches, met colleagues from every sphere of practice, and heard your hopes, your concerns, and your expectations for the Nigerian Bar Association. I have never asked you to support me because of my name or my record alone. I have asked you to examine my vision, scrutinise my ideas, and judge me by the clarity of my plans and the sincerity of my commitment to serve. I believe our Bar deserves leadership that unites rather than divides, inspires rather than merely impresses, and serves rather than seeks to be served. It deserves leadership that earns trust, protects the dignity of our profession, and leaves an enduring legacy for generations yet to come. When history looks back on this defining moment, I hope it will record that we chose competence over convenience, vision over sentiment, and service over self-interest. Models/Artists: EXCITING AND MAJOR NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS 1. You can now upload any zip or pdf file to sell in your store or include in a post, up to 2gig. 2. The Media Center now has a “Files” category where you can see the files you have uploaded, create a post or a store item. 3. There are new Art categories you can choose when posting a product for sale, and that users can use to search the store. These will evolve over time and we know they don’t cover every use case yet. 4. There is a new Artists page that lists the artists on the site. There aren’t many yet, but this will obviously grow a lot. 5. The verification process now has better instructions for artists vs. video creators. 6. When you sign up, you choose whether you are an artist or on-screen talent. If you already have your account and need to update this, reach out to customer service and they can do it for you. If your current artwork fits within our TOS, go ahead and start selling your works now on JFF. If you aren’t sure, we hope to have clarity around our TOS this week, so please be patient as we get that done. Folks, this is Phase I, and we’ve done this all since Friday to try to help the NSFW artists in our community. There will be more phases as we see what is needed. We are doing our best, so if something you want isn’t there yet, send a note to customer service and help us build this area out on the site over time. We hope Phase I meets a good percentage of your immediate needs to start earning money. But we also know that our site, like ALL adult sites, will have content restrictions that will exclude some of you. That’s not our choosing or our doing. But if we want to keep our credit card processors and not deplatform everyone (like other sites just did) then we need to play by their rules. That sucks and we are sorry about that. We use adult processors, so we have a lot fewer restrictions than the other sites that are deplatforming ALL NSFW content. Dear Lagosians, here is an important update on our metro line. Starting Monday, October 16, 2023, we're increasing train trips on the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line from 12 to 54, with plans for 74 trips by the end of November. To make this transition, we'll need to shut down train services on Saturday, October 14 after the morning peak service and for the entire day on Sunday, October 15, for the switch to electricity. This momentary pause is to ensure that your safety is our top priority. I can assure you that suspending passenger operations is a global practice to effect major changes. This switch to electricity will help us introduce more trips and help us serve more passengers safely. I'm proud to say that we launched the first phase of the LRMT Blue Line on September 4, 2023 and we have moved over 80,000 passengers. Our goal is to surpass 150,000 daily passengers between Marina and Mile 2 in the coming months. The future of Lagos trains is bright, and I'm committed to improving your commuting experience. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to enhance our public transportation system.

The division, the decay, the generational damage inflicted on our club lies at the feet of unfit owners who have bled us dry and shattered our identity. In August, we will know which path the minority ownership will take. Only then will the battle lines be fully drawn. We had them on the ropes once — and we will do it again. We are still here. We will always be here. Angry, united, and defiant. To everyone who has marched, chanted, campaigned, organised, and raised their voice — thank you. Your time, energy, and sacrifice have never gone unnoticed. It's always been left to the few to make a stand for the many. You are all heroes. This was the fourth protest in eight weeks. We invest our own time. Our own energy. Our own money. We make sacrifices every day. This isn’t a call for sympathy — only a reminder that we will always be pragmatic in the actions we take, and we will never risk the livelihood or liberty of our core support — those who want a better future for this club and the next generation. We will continue to reflect the media gaze back onto the ownership of our club. More and more are now on board and taking our side. That has taken real determination and hard work.
