Here we are down at the Buffalo waterfront. I can't believe the birds flying in these winds but maybe it's safer there than in the ground. Winds have to be gusting over 70 mph now!!

Second day of crazy wind gusts in Calgary. Drove by a few beautiful evergreen trees ripped from the ground and fallen over. Downtown has things flying all over.

CRAZY microburst winds in northwest DC toppled trees, wires. The area from Van Ness to Cathedral Heights in NW DC was ROCKED by Tuesday's storms with many trees down, some onto cars. Chairs were blown off a roof. This video from Ari Neugeboren in NW DC resembles a hurricane.

Today I saw a semi-truck completely flipped over. I bet a Tesla Semi won’t have this problem… No vehicle can eliminate every crash, and physics always wins. But this is exactly why I believe electric trucks equipped with technologies like FSD are the future. Every year, around 500,000 crashes in the U.S. involve large trucks. More than 5,000 people lose their lives, and over 160,000 are injured. Rollover crashes are especially dangerous for truck drivers because of the massive weight, high center of gravity, and the forces involved. Tesla designed the Semi with safety as the priority from day one. It has a low center of gravity bc the battery pack sits beneath the cab, helping improve stability. It also includes advanced cameras, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warnings, and other driver-assistance features that can help reduce the chances of serious crashes. Technology won’t prevent every single accident, but if we can use better engineering and smarter software to reduce even a small percentage of these crashes, that will save thousands of lives over time. I can’t wait for the day when seeing a flipped-over semi becomes much rarer than it is today bc of the Tesla Semi.

Murmansk region, Russia ❗ 💨🥶⛄ Completely unexpected for this time of year (😌), a snow blizzard paralyzed the Murmansk region. Local residents are sharing photos and videos of the aftermath. In Polyarny and Zapolyarny for example, strong winds knocked down festively decorated trees. Also due to the weather, classes were canceled at some schools, traffic jams formed on the roads, numerous accidents occurred, and trucks were left waiting in line.

Black Hawk Down! 🇮🇷 🇺🇸 Search aircraft flew over southern and western Iran at low altitude to avoid being shot down by air defenses. However, this left the aircraft vulnerable to ground attacks, complicating the rescue operation. In fact, a Black Hawk was shot down by Iranian air defenses. Despite this, the crew was able to abandon the helicopter and was rescued alive. Also an A-10 was shot down too during the rescue operations while was flying over the Persian Gulf.

🚨 More details emerging from the devastating storm damage in Lynndyl, Utah. The National Weather Service has received reports of widespread wind and hail damage across the area, including trees snapped and uprooted, power lines down, homes damaged and railroad cars overturned. At this point, there are no directly measured wind speeds from the storm, so we don’t yet know exactly how strong the winds were. However, the damage pattern is providing some important clues. Videos and photos show numerous trees knocked down in the same direction, which is consistent with strong, straight-line winds. There is currently no obvious convergent damage signature suggesting a tornado in the areas documented so far. That said, the investigation isn’t over. The National Weather Service has a survey team heading to Lynndyl to assess the damage firsthand. They’ll be looking closely at the damage pattern, vegetation, structures and other evidence to determine how intense the winds were and whether anything more significant occurred. So for now, the big question remains: Just how strong were the winds in Lynndyl? We should have a much better answer after the survey is completed, weather permitting. This was an incredibly powerful storm, and the damage coming out of Millard County is remarkable. 📍 Lynndyl, Utah 📷 Mike Frandsen

🚨🇺🇸 SANTA MONICA WILDFIRE FLARES UP AS MOTHER NATURE GOES FULL CHAOS MODE A wildfire has sparked near Pacific Palisades in the Santa Monica Mountains, just as Southern California gets slammed with winds that could knock over a semi. Gusts are hitting 100 mph in some spots, and steady 80 mph winds are already fanning the flames like it’s their job. So far, Santa Monica itself and nearby buildings are safe, but firefighters aren’t exactly relaxing—conditions are changing faster than a weather app refresh. Stay tuned; this could get wild(er). HOW BOUT A RELAXING CRUISE…🤔 HEY IT’s SPRING BREAK!!! The cruise ship glides across bright blue water as the sun warms the deck. Music plays by the pool, frozen drinks are flowing, and the ocean stretches forever in every direction. Later you step onto a tropical island with white sand and palm trees, then return to the ship for music, lights, and stars over the water. Spring break on a cruise…sunshine, ocean breeze, and zero worries. Hopefully the dark clouds stay away. 🌴🚢☀️

🌀 Typhoon Dolphin is crossing Okinawa, Japan The center of Typhoon Dolphin is crossing Okinawa, with winds near the center around 144 km/h and gusts of about 195 km/h (JMA). Okinawa and the Amami Islands are currently the most affected areas, with strong winds, heavy rain and high waves. Miyako and Yaeyama are farther from the center, with the worst conditions expected on Saturday. Dolphin is expected to strengthen again over the East China Sea, with winds around 170 km/h and gusts up to 205 km/h, while its forward movement is expected to slow down. Dangerous conditions may therefore persist across the Ryukyu Islands and southwestern Japan throughout the weekend. Very heavy rain is expected in Okinawa, Amami and southern Kyushu. Weekend rainfall totals may reach 100–250 mm, locally over 350 mm, increasing the risk of landslides, flooding and rapid rises in river levels. ⚠️ Please follow local authorities and monitor the latest warnings.

Know that I say this with total love: what’s wrong with planting palm trees and banana trees in NC is that you’re destroying the natural beauty of this state. Palm trees are only native to a very small portion of Brunswick county. Banana trees? They’re not native at all. When I was growing up finding a palm tree? That was like magic. It was an experience that left you breathless. Today, transplants and developers have planted them all over Wilmington. A place they didn’t exist at all 30 years ago. You know what’s been lost as a result? Gorgeous live oaks dripping with Spanish moss and miles of longleaf pine forests. And it’s not just Wilmington that suffers from this invasion. You can find palm trees planted all over the coastal plain - all the way up through Raeford. They’re a hideous and tacky eyesore that destroys what North Carolina is really supposed to look like and it’s a threat to our natural heritage. If you want palms… if you want banana trees, move further South. 🙏🏼

Donald Trump banned DJI drones in the United States and they came down in price in Canada so I got one. It's a magnificent drone flying experience. Unbelievable stability. No wonder he hates it no American product can compete with it. This is the first time I've flown a drone that I'm not remotely afraid of crashing. These were the views over Ajax today. I reached the legal altitude limit of 400 feet in slightly windy conditions which it handled with ease.

My club champ recap. Another top ten (T6 in an 11 player field) Yesterday- Shit. Horrible. 85. Today- much much better. 77. But honestly a lot of progress. The Golf Performance Center and the PDI app has really helped with game, and mental side. The 77 today included 5 up and downs. Something I haven’t done in years. Even yesterday I stayed mentally in the round. Played last 5 even. Still horrible round but a lot of times I would have checked out. This is 5 iron from 212 over a bunch of trees (hit it in the opposite fairway) to 30 feet. Two putt birdie was nice way to finish. Progress. Semi-finals of match play Wed, City Open Sat and Sun. Grinding all week.

A B-2 bomber was spotted flying over Southern California earlier this year. They have been planning this for a long time. Disguising training as “flyovers” 🚨 The B-2 is designed to carry a B83-1 Thermonuclear Bomb - the most powerful nuclear weapon currently in the US arsenal! It has a maximum yield of 1.2 megatons, roughly 125 to 160 times more powerful than the 15-kiloton Hiroshima bomb 👀 Trump mentioned it today and hinted at something coming. STAY VIGILANT and follow with the notifications on‼️

Insane footage coming from Ukraine today. First clip you can find shows a Russian Shahed drone striking the center of Lviv. Then, one of a Russian long-range one-way attack drone is gunned down with a firearm by a Ukrainian serviceman flying aboard a Yak-52 trainer aircraft. The first scene shows the most modern way of waging war: with one-way attack drones. The other shows World War I-style tactics being used to counter them in the air. Crazy. 🚨CLOSE TO 10 INCHES OF RAIN SO FAR - TOTALS TRENDING HIGHER - Significant Flooding Rain has already fallen across Southern California, with parts of Santa Barbara and the LA area ALREADY seeing up to 9 inches or more. 🌧️ More heavy rain is coming today, with another 4 to 8 inches possible, which will only worsen ongoing flooding issues. 🌬️ Strong winds have arrived as well, with gusts over 60 mph reported in many areas. Power outages are becoming more likely, especially with Christmas right around the corner. And keep this in mind. Today is only Wave 1 of 2. Another round of rain, wind, and heavy mountain snow arrives Christmas Day. Hang in there, California. We’re praying for you 🙏

Alaska isn’t real life, this is literally Jurassic Park on a random Tuesday 🫎🤯 Every time I think I understand how big a bull moose actually is, a clip like this pops up and completely resets my scale. Seeing one in the wild is already intimidating, but watching two full-sized males casually strolling down the highway together like best friends? That’s next-level rare. They make the passing trucks look like compact toys! It’s crazy to think that for locals in Alaska, a traffic jam isn't caused by construction—it's caused by giant prehistoric-looking wildlife taking over the lane. Absolutely insane view 🌲🏔️
