The Ghanaian developers are very good at coming up with software that will make work more efficient

this is sophisticated.. where is @KojoForex to build something like this using AI.?

@KojoForex 🤣😂

This is a really cool feature but I wanna know what problem solves? why use your smart phone to scan items when you can just use a barcode scanner which is cheaper & built for heavy use

Apps like these are great but after a while, the business can outgrow it. Hence, the developers must be careful to add: 1. Multi-warehouses 2. Multi-Organization 3. Multi-Currency 4. Multi-Accounting (Accounting Schemas) 5. Multi-Lingual 6. Multi-Tax 7. Scalability options

I think is a Techno camon 50 cell phone 📱

I don't know though

Back in 2018, my team at Groots Consulting UG built something similar -TabTap SHOP, a digital inventory and bookkeeping solution for SMEs in Africa. It was essentially an accounting app for micro businesses in Nigeria. You could scan a product’s barcode and instantly see it appear with preset in-store prices. The flow was simple: scan → product shows up → auto checkout summary → payment. We designed it to help small business owners manage inventory, track low stock, oversee employees across multiple shop locations, and even access capital to restock goods. At our peak, we had around 1,000 users. But retention started to drop significantly. We were early—too early. Eventually, we ran out of runway to sustain operations, and the parent company in Germany had to declare bankruptcy. That experience changed how I think about building in Africa. The opportunities are massive, but structural challenges like limited internet access and varying levels of digital literacy; can slow adoption in ways that are easy to underestimate. Did one case-study about it

Yaw I'm launching a beta test for my this week o😁

Nice. Tag me when you do

I will boss🫡🇬🇭❤️

Nice in the way it solves real problem, makes more sense in small shops, and businesses, but I wonder why devs are kind of freaking out like its magic, its just scanning bar-code with phone camera, that's it!

Very simple and easy to use, he really cooked

I did something like this when vibe coding was nit even there...😅

What APi did they use to access the barcode database? Tried something similar but getting that was not easy

I can vibecode tf out of this

What is the use case? I don’t get it

For small businesses.

Why you dey see Ghanaian developers less less err.

what problem is he solving? because tech doesn't only have to be cool

Impressive and very practical use-case ❤️❤️❤️

@KwadwoFrimpong0 Impressive

It's called STAX: Shop manager and this is the link to it in the store for Android devices.

@DjoletoT Amazing 🥲

Source code 🌚

Ah a bar code reader??? Or you guys are seeing something I'm not seeing??

@KUDAPARA should we tell him or nah?

And I built this but never launched it

@jumpnpass_ does this also

Great app

I created an attendance system that uses face recognition in stead of the traditional writing of names but stays in my GitHub

This is incredible

Sharp

@okine_sidney backoffice when?

Nice

Check out 7-Eleven Scan, Pay, Go experience on its app
