Yall missing out on greatness tbh… the beginning is teaching you all of the mechanics the game has to offer in this first 8 hours and the story is slow but if you’re in it for the exploration and the way you can experiment with all the weapons you’ll have a great time

I’ve clocked nearly 20 hours in the game, and in my opinion, is Crimson Desert my kind of game? Hell yeah! Will it be a game of the year? Hell no! Bugs and crashes aside, the game does have a slow-paced build-up in the beginning, which I can see how that would throw some players off. I personally think the devs could simplify the game mechanics more, mainly the move inputs combat-wise. It all feels clunky in my opinion. The story so far isn’t that captivating, but I’m mostly spending my time exploring and doing side quests as I often do with games like these. I’m not in a hurry to get through the story, and I won’t be for weeks or maybe even months, only playing the story when I’m required to in order to gain access to something I wouldn’t be able to have access to without progressing through the story a little more. All in all, I agree with some parts of his argument concerning the game, but I do think he’s dragging it a little, and I’m sure it’s for reaction and content. 😂 That said, people are allowed to have their opinions about the game, no matter how negative or positive their opinions may be… I’m going to enjoy the game regardless. 🤷🏾‍♂️
