Drones have changed the security equation for America’s critical infrastructure. A drone attack is shockingly easy to execute. And guess what: private sector and even the government don’t have legal authorization to deal with the threat, let alone the right tools. This is a legal issue that Congress has to fix. The Critical Infrastructure Airspace Defense Act would give direct authority to critical infrastructure sites with properly trained personnel to respond to unauthorized drones in real time.
