Critical thinking involves asking questions, so let’s ask some obvious ones about this 1972 Apollo Moon Take off filmed by NASA ‘allegedly’ from the surface of the Moon…. - how did Men in thick space suits create the infrastructure needed for take off? - compare the amount of equipment... required to launch a craft from the Earths surface to the set up on the moon - how did they film it & relay the video back in real time? Imagine how difficult this would be to capture on camera - look at the take off - do you really think this craft is generating enough power to launch? - where were all the astronauts tools & electrical equipment to set this launch platform up? - if this was 52 years ago - then why hasn’t man stepped foot on the moon again? I think what’s so poetic about this image is that it was unintentional. I had my phone set up to record the launch and at about 40 seconds into the launch, it hit me that this is the FIRST TIME a woman is going to the moon. My mother and grandmother were alive during the Apollo missions but this is the FIRST time they’re witnessing a woman making that journey. My heart filled and I turned the camera to capture my reaction in that exact moment. I’m so glad I did. The image you’re seeing is a woman in STEM in awe over Christina Koch - and the impact her journey will have on millions of girls around the world. The launch reflecting in my glasses - well, that was just the icing on top of the cake.

Amusing how I've been caught in the crossfire of just showing up to do my job as much as I have this World Cup. Did you know how to remove prints from the Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack? Just use the scraper that came with your printer to gently lift the print and carefully pry it off. If it's stuck too tight, heat the plate to 50°C on the heatbed to help it come off. The surface is soft, so be careful with the scraper to avoid scratches (they won’t affect performance though).
