It’s a bit clumsier than his other films... not everything works, and not everything is funny. But strangely, it’s the one I love the most. Maybe because it feels more human. The world he created is so delightfully messy and the music by Mark Mothersbaugh and the Bowie covers are so great. I just love The Life Aquatic
