Trucks still do overloading on such bridges which have load limit already written on it

I don't think such bridges are made to bear heavy loads and that too of a loaded truck.

Am just extremely curious as to why did the white car stop. I think there might be a max. permissible weight & vehicle sign somewherem, else it makes no sense why the car stopped, and this dude with the overloaded truck would have maxed it out.

That's a temporary bridge used during construction for civilians, I don't know if trucks can go over them

There are always weight limits at such bridges, one should stick to them, as well as the rule "one vehicle at a time." Glad at least the car driver followed it.

Not every bridge is designed for heavy commercial vehicles. Almost all commercial vehicles are overloaded almost 2x their designed capacity which is assumed during the bridge design.

clearly that bridge wasnt meant for heavy load vehicles only cars and bikes or passenger vehicle this was bound to happen people dont use common sense the driver would have driven even if the bridge was made with bamboo

Car driver was not just saved by seconds but by patiently waiting to ensure 1 vehicle on the bridge at a time - although common sensical but largely bot followed. I have seen impatient drivers even honking at army trucks in such situations in Ladakh.

Although ,its clearly mentioned about one vehicle at a time on most of the bailley bridges,but no one pays heed.
