The attack was carried out by the Vikings (DNKI) cult group in retaliation for the recent k!ll!ng of one of their members, Suraj, by the Aye (NBM) cult group. (Video on Telgrm). A Navy personnel, who also plays football with the group, intervened and stopped them from att@cking the boy. The cultists then threatened to att@ck the Navy personnel. Yesterday morning, after a football session, the NBM cultists returned with more members. As the Navy personnel was leaving, they att@cked and injvred him before fleeing the scene. One of the NBM cultists identified as the chief mastermind of the att@ck is named Jerry. EFFURUN/WARRI, DELTA: Sources on the ground have confirmed to Naija Confra that the ongoing clash between Vikings (DNKI) and Eiye (ACN) is happening in Effurun, not Warri. While Effurun and Warri share the same boundary and are very close, they are different places. The fighting between Vikings and Eiye reportedly started last week, with tensions rising especially around Jakpa Junction. At one point, Vikings even declared war on both Eiye and Aye (NBM). Some said it first started as a community issue before escalating to cult matters. Last week, reports indicated that some Eiye members were attacked, with one st@bbed whose condition remains unknown. Vikings were also attacked, leading to the recent attacks yesterday. Aye is said to not be dominant in the area since they lack the numbers, so most times they avoid trouble. Most of the violence in the area comes from Vikings and Eiye. (We obtained a video showing a man attacked some days ago). There are reports of de@th, but Naija Confra has not confirmed this yet. LEKKI, LAGOS: This morning in Lekki, Lagos State, some NBM (Aye) cultists were arrested for kidn@pping their fellow NBM member known as Senator. He was reportedly kidn@pped for 3 days over a business dispute (azza matter). Sources told Naija Confra that the NBM kidn@ppers collected money from Senator and also seized his phone. However, the police tracked the phone and location, which led to the arrest of all the NBM kidn@ppers today.
