Something that has been somehow overlooked by most listeners to this episode is that Proton Wallet had planned from the beginning to release with Samourai Wallet Whirlpool tightly integrated and already built the integration, and only scrapped it after the indictment. I am grateful for Guardian's Timing: How I Secured My Digital Assets Before It Was Too Late! Yesterday, I posted a long article on how to protect your wallet from hacks. There I promised to create a website where anyone will be able to revoke delegation with a sponsored transaction. When is this revocation effective? • If you believe that your wallet's private key or seed phrase is not compromised anyhow, neither your system is compromised but still it drains ERC20 tokens as well as gas balance instantly. Only in this case, you should try revoking the hacker's existing delegation. Now your question is during revoking there is need of gas fee in the compromised wallet but once you send the gas fee it gets drained then how can you revoke? • That is why I created this website where you need to generate a wallet address and send some gas fee in this wallet address (not in the compromised wallet) and this wallet will then pay the gas fee on behalf of your compromised wallet. 🔗 Website link : Later, you can withdraw all the remaining gas fee from this temporary wallet as well. But if you see that even after revoking the hacker again re-delegated it to his wallet or contract, then it is most likely a seed phrase or private key compromise. You should try to revoke max 3 to 5 times, if the hacker is not re-delegating then you should send a little gas fee in your compromised wallet, if this gas fee does not get drained now then you can think that your wallet is safe.

So you've got XRP sitting on your cold wallet, you want to protect it, you set up an LLC...makes sense. And now everyone's telling you to buy another wallet, send it off the exchange, do all this complicated stuff.. Here's what to actually do. Leave it exactly where it is. Use the crypto as your initial capital contribution to the business. You list it on the capital contributions page of your operating agreement. Wallet address. Which asset. How many tokens. The dollar amount on the day you transfer ownership. Get that notarized. That's your timestamp. That's your proof. Every single LLC can hold crypto this way. Except... if you're using one that already exists. Say you've already got an LLC in Wyoming, but that LLC is also managing your rental property. Now there's liability attached to it. Someone slips on the stairs. They sue. And in a state like Florida with weak creditor protection, they can come for your crypto too & the thing that was supposed to protect your assets just exposed them Your crypto goes in its own LLC. Your real estate in another with the profits rolling up to a management company With Wyoming LLCs, you've got anonymity and creditor protection built in. YOUR HARDWARE WALLET SUCKS. PERIOD. ZachXBT just said what we've known for years: hardware wallets are garbage. We won't go as far but we surely feel they are not for everyone. They are for advanced users and by no means for wallets that are meant to be accessed frequently. There is one thing hardware wallets are good at: that is keeping crypto secure if someone physically trying to rip private keys (those that give you access to crypto) out of the chip. The reality is that attack almost never happens!😀 When it comes to the attacks that actually drain wallets, hardware wallets make them worse: >> 1. NOT DISCREETE The moment someone sees that little device, you're a confirmed high-value target. >> 2. LEAKED EMAILS AND ADDRESSES Buying one doxxed thousands of people. Leaked customer databases with the real names and home addresses. You just joined a phishing hit list. Emails targeting hardware wallet owners are now so convincing that even veterans get fooled. Privacy can't fail harder than that. >> 3. PAPER BACKUPS You still write your keys on paper. The seed phrase backup negates the entire point of the device.
