✨ I increased the max resolution for my open-source upscaler to 20,000 x 20,000 pixels (or 400 megapixels) 🤯 This makes it by far the highest resolution AI upscaler available It takes 26 minutes to run on an A100 GPU 80GB and produces a 100MB JPG file 😱 The higher upscale resolution is possible because I am running a second replicate model now which runs on a larger GPU with 80GB VRAM I would like to increase the resolution even higher but it runs out of VRAM for higher resolutions which I might be able to fix by changing the tiling settings 🛠️ My code is open-source, and I also host a very easy-to-use version on my website Clarity AI, where users can upscale anything between 2 and 20,000 pixels now

I still can't really believe it 🤩 It's great for creative upscaling but it always changes people's identity too much. I made Crystal to solve that, but it's not able to add details or realism. Now we have Clarity Pro Upscaler which finally solves all that and can enhance images without changing the content. In the coming days I will make it even more powerful by adding parameters and increasing the max resolution even further (it's already at 8K!) Happy to hear your feedback

Sora 2 is here. I’ve been pushing its limits to see how far it can really go. Some results look impressive, others still rough but the biggest plus is that now it can generate video with audio in one go. 🔥 The downside? The watermark is still everywhere, and the raw video quality isn’t great yet. For this demo I had to upscale with Topaz Labs Clearly the devs still have work to do. But the progress is undeniable, smoother motion, stronger scene understanding and it’s beginning to handle even the most complex prompts I throw at it, turning them into fully visualized videos. 🫵You should generate every shot in Seedance 2.5 at 480p. And not because it saves credits. 480p → Topaz upscale to 4K gives you something 720p and 1080p can't: the upscaler has to reconstruct detail, and it outputs images that are softer at the edges. Which means with 480p there's even less clinical, digital sharpness. Native 1080p out of a video model looks like a render for this reason. Pair it with Dehancer for the halation and film grain and it looks more authentic. AI video is at its realest when its purposely imperfect. Cheaper, and closer to film(imo 🤷). That's the whole trick. Check out this example 👇
