CS Murkomen on deployment of police officers not wearing uniforms: We will not allow our police officers to put their lives in danger by wearing uniform when they shouldn’t be wearing uniform. Even in protests, DCI are automatically in plain clothes. If it is necessary for them to be masked to protect themselves then they should. #CitizenMondayReport

On Tremont Street, following last night’s triple shooting. We desperately need a new public safety summer plan. Boston does not have enough police officers, we are significantly understaffed. Police Officers need to be part of the solution and respected by city leaders!
