Recently visited Target's Global Capability Centre in Bengaluru today with Hon'ble CM of Karnataka and senior officers from the Government of Karnataka. It was great interacting with the leadership team and learning how Bengaluru has become Target's largest GCC globally, playing a central role in the company's engineering, data science, product development and business operations. Today several key global functions for the company are led from Bengaluru, including the Store Design team responsible for designing over 2,000 Target stores across the United States, as well as the company's Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) capabilities. Target's journey reflects how Karnataka's GCC ecosystem has evolved beyond support functions to become a global hub for product development, innovation and enterprise leadership.
