Cuebus and Unabandonware preserved a dialer app, featuring Ulala from Space Channel 5! It was preloaded on J-SH07, an early J-SKY keitai from 2001. This was likely intended to show off Mascot Capsule 3D graphics. The right video shows Ulala's model in the PVMicro model viewer.

Since this was an early keitai, Cuebus and Unabandonware had to dechip it and use a custom adapter. You can read more about this phone here:

The original i-mode release of Bomberman 3D was preserved by Yuvi! Released in 2004, the game has fully 3D stages with multiple elevations. Its EZweb, Yahoo Keitai, and international J2ME releases have also been preserved to various extents.

Today is a busy day for keitai game preservation! User Chicken preserved Puyo Puyo Fever Habanero from a D903i! This was exclusively released for keitai in 2007, and it's similar to Puyo Puyo Fever 2. Prior to this, there were apparently only 8 screenshots of it online!

Cuebus preserved DoDonPuchi Zero (ドドンプチ零) and a trial version of DoDonPuchi (ドドンプチ)! Released in 2003, DoDonPuchi Zero was CAVE's first original shooter for keitai. Both were lost to time until now! Zero's soundtrack was composed by Namiki Manabu.

Gundam VS Fighting Spirits Plus, which was preserved last year, is finally playable thanks to Yuvi! The game needed a server to function properly. This may be the best keitai fighting game we've preserved so far. It runs incredibly smoothly for a keitai game.

We've found plenty of keitai freeware games, but "Super Merio" has shown up on multiple devices. As the name suggests, it's a Mario clone. It appears to have been released in 2001, making it one of the earliest pieces of keitai freeware that we've preserved.

Deathsmiles Gaiden Lost Days was a CAVE shmup developed exclusively for keitai in 2007. It has two playable characters and 15 missions. The game was preserved last year, and it runs quite well in the DoJa SDK's emulator!

Chara-den were avatars you could use for videophone calls on keitai. The numberpad's keys correspond to different emotions. A Sonic chara-den was recently preserved by user Kagekiyo from a P902i. I'm using an official DoCoMo chara-den tool to view Sonic's animations.

Thanks to Aid1043 and TimeTravel_0, Columns Jewel has an English patch! This was a Columns keitai game that was preserved last year. It has a story mode, where Sana travels back in time after wearing a mysterious bracelet. There's also a puzzle mode with 40 puzzles!

ICYMI, Yuvi partially preserved Biohazard: The Operations, a previously-lost Biohazard keitai game! It heavily relied on missing SD card data, but Yuvi painstakingly recreated the data from scratch, resulting in all missions and online leaderboards being functional! (1/2)

Two previously-lost Sonic keitai minigames and the original i-mode version of Sonic Jump were preserved by Yuvi! The minigames are Sonic 7 Narabe and Sonic Reversi Hyper. Sonic Jump was later released for Western phones, but the original keitai version was lost until today.

The i-mode version of Glory of Valkyrie (ワルキューレの栄光) was preserved by Yuuku! Its Android port had been preserved, but its original keitai release had been lost until today! Earlier this year, we also preserved its keitai-exclusive sequel, The Glory of Valkyrie 2.

Yuuku preserved King's Field Mobile, a previously-lost King's Field i-mode game. A retelling of the PS1 original, it has different map layouts and an auto-map. For a real-time 3D 2004 keitai game, it's very ambitious. There's already an English patch too!

After the DKYG video last week, a few people have asked me if Seiken Densetsu's i-mode remake has been preserved yet. The answer is yes! It was preserved back in July. For those curious, the i-mode remake is faithful to the original Game Boy game, with updated graphics/music.
