As they try to take over the party, Fetterman gave them this reality check: “I promise you America’s future and my party’s future is not socialism or kinds of outlandish, far-left kinds of ideas.” He even said outright that the far-left wing is the reason Democrats are in this political hole. “It’s been a year [since] we lost the election. Now, to put this in context, they killed Soleimani, not on Iranian soil, but in Iraq. And he was an Iranian general. And then, we had a drone flying over there, and they shot it down. But at that point, the president threatened to take action against Iran for that, and he was being encouraged to do so by members of his cabinet. He told Maria Bartiromo that showing I.D. to vote is completely reasonable — pointing to Wisconsin, which last year voted to enshrine voter I.D. in their constitution.
